"This clothing and lifestyle store has expanded into a new two-story space, which feels like it came straight out of Copenhagen. In this trendy part of town where stores come and go all too often, Goodhood's staying power is due to the owners being, since 2007, arbiters of East London style, constantly refreshing their mix of streetwear essentials from brands like Wood Wood, Nanushka, Peter Jensen, and MM6. Last year, they expanded their concept and went into furnishings, bringing Nordic brands like HAY and Muuto to East London. So popular is their aesthetic that they're now busy helping other companies find their voice through Goodhood's graphic and branding agency."

East London stalwart Goodhood has firmly established itself as one of the capital’s must-visit locations with its menswear, womenswear and homeware offerings. The retailer features a wide array of brands ranging from staples such as Dickies, Stüssy and Stone Island to high-end labels including Marni and various COMME des GARÇONS brands. Additionally, Goodhood is a key location for sneaker releases and its own collaborations with some of the brands from its roster.

This review is based on the interior of the shop and range of products, personally I haven’t bought anything from here online or in I store but love the interior decor. There is a great selection of products, some out of my process range but it’s an excellently curated shop. You’ll find books, cool clothing from a range of brands and artwork 🖼️ It’s a cute shop to peruse and if you’ve got the cash to splash to buy some gifts for yourself or friends.

Absolute waste of time!! Ordered a jacket from them online. Six days later they decide to reply to my emails/messages on social media saying it will be sent the next day. I returned the jacket and 7 days later I've still had no refund. I don't see why I should of had to chase up an order and now I've got to chase up a refund. It seems its a common problem and they just can't fulfil orders. Their customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. It's a shame you have to actually give them one star as they don't even deserve that. I will never buy from them again in the future.

Love what they stock and the brands they have available, however, ordering online from them is a mess. It’s been 8 days since I ordered and still nothing has dispatched. They’re based in London and shipping is to London, kinda mad. This is generally the case with every order made online with them - not sure why this happens to be the case with them when other retailers seem to be able to dispatch within 24 hours. EDIT: I've now only just been informed 9 days after ordering that the stock is unavailable, even though it was available at the time of order. My suspicion is that their store and online use the same stock and they've just sold it to someone in store after I had already purchased it online (????), this isn't the first time this has happened with Goodhood so I've downgraded this review to 1 star. To be clear, this was an email I got from them 2 days ago: "THANK YOU FOR WAITING Your order is being picked and packed and will be out with you very soon. Please allow for a few days shipping time from this email, but know that we're getting it to you as soon as possible." A bit of a cowboy retailer that doesn't seem to follow normal e-commerce process. Would 100% highly not reccomend purchasing online with them.

So over the years, I bought several things from good hood at their Old location I got the things I wanted so service wasn’t a big deal for me. I just visited their new location as I’ve been out of the country for the last four years and wow what a difference the space reminds me of the old Dover Street market and there was a young man by the name of T-bone. I hope I got that right was not really helpful, but went out of his way to give me information on things I was looking for. I have to say it was a great shopping experience. I bought two things very happy. I’ll definitely be back to work checking out and thank you for the manager Charlotte for giving me the information. She seemed very

It was the worst online shopping experience I’ve ever had. I purchased a down jacket for my husband for over £100. When it arrived, it had been crammed into a dirty cardboard box without any inner packaging at all. If it had been delivered on a rainy day, the down would have been soaked. Also, if I had accidentally used a cutter to open the box, I could have easily cut the jacket itself. When my husband saw the packaging, he immediately asked, “Is this second-hand or an outlet item?” On top of that, nothing regarding the return process was carried out unless I followed up and chased them. This company is extremely untrustworthy.

Don’t bother waste your time ordering from this site. They sell products that aren’t in stock and will have you waiting for weeks without communicating. if you know what’s good for you, you’ll get a refund and not even waste your time

Goodhood is a fantastic store in the neighbourhood, offering a great selection of cool and fashionable clothing and homeware. I recently bought a water bottle, but unfortunately, the packaging glue left a residue that couldn’t be removed. Without a receipt, I went back to the store, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The manager kindly offered me a replacement or store credit, which I really appreciated. While I can't speak to their online ordering system (seems to be the main complaint here), my in-store experience was excellent. Would recommend shopping in person!

Yelp
Goodhood grows up! I had popped my head in a few times at Goodhood's small East London outpost (formerly on Coronet Street, tucked away just off Hoxton Square) -- but they've now moved to these much nicer, much larger, much posher digs on Curtain Road. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this new location boasts a large lower level (with kids clothes! and lighting! and cosmetics/products!) as well as the main level with men's and women's fashion. Goodhood is a very popular lifestyle brand (just check out their following on twitter/instagram/facebook) -- and one can see why. It's very hip. I didn't find anything on this particular visit. The clothing isn't quite me. It's also very pricey. The kids clothes are cute, but anyone with an actual child realizes that it's an unnecessary expenditure to buy duds that get covered in food/drool, etc. I'm sure non-parents could buy these as gifts though! I'll be back to explore the cosmetics/product lines and homewares though...also very fond of their jewelry. Similar designs to Start nearby. Summary: great if you are looking for a unique gift or for something special for yourself or your home. Fun to have a poke around. I can't pull off most of the fashion but could def be convinced with some of their home items or beauty stuff. Also, everyone was friendly. A nice change for a boutique in Shoreditch!

Yelp
Was previously a regular customer at GoodHood for a number of years. My wife bought me a baseball cap from there for Christmas. I returned it today (Jan 8th, purchased Dec 15th) and they wouldn't take it back, even for store credit. Had it been purchased online, they would have had to under UK law, but it seems their returns policy on the website does not adhere to that either: https://goodhoodstore.com/deliveries-and-returns. They state here items must be returned within 14d of SALE, when actually UK law dictates that notice must be given within 14d of RECEIPT, and items returned within another 14d (28d of receiving items in total) There are plenty of other places that stock the brands that they do for a fraction of the price, and that allow 28d for returns. I genuinely thought I was supporting a local multi-brand store by buying from GoodHood, but it seems their policies are not customer-centric. Shame, nice range.

Yelp
This store has a lovely layout, very conducive to browsing through ALL THE THINGS. They have the softest of shirts, and some amazing smelling candles and lotions. The women's clothing was a little out of my style range (graphic tees, jorts, platform sneakers, etc.) but they had a decent selection. If you have a leopard crop top hanging in your closet, there is probably something here for you. Go get 'em. I found the men's clothing section more toned down, and my boyfriend walked away with an adorable pair of Vans (on sale, woop). We also browsed through the skin, hair, home sections downstairs. If I were looking for a nice gift for a girlfriend or colleague I might wander through here. The Hay design collection had some fun surprises. Worth a wander!

Yelp
As a menswear enthusiast this tastefully curated shop ticks all the boxes. I'm an admirer of the brands they stock and often visit the store to discover new labels. The staff are always really helpful in finding me the right sizes. We are talking premium brands, so when pay day is a little too far away I like to quietly stand in the corner of the store for around 2-3 hours so the clothes I am already wearing absorb the smell of the high-end incense they burn throughout. It's a great way for me to feel luxurious until I have disposable income again and can spend it happily on new garments.

Yelp
One of those places made for high end hipsters that made it, where you wish you could buy everything, starting with that "musk" candle to those 890£ beige sneakers that you clearly don't need. This unisex clothing store offers a vast amount of curated brands, but clearly on the higher scale of the price spectrum...one day, right? One day. But until that day, it s just pretty nice to come here, look, touch, and get inspired.

Yelp
Very difficult to order from the US. I never had issues with any other UK retailer. They require you to tick and tie your home address with a utility bill when you order, which can be difficult if you are out of town. If this is a mandatory requirement for all orders, I'm not sure why they don't automate this on their website where you can just upload a picture of your utility bill when you put your order in? I even provided my record of sale for my apartment from the NY dept of finance website since all real estate transactions are public record in NY state and even that wasn't good enough proof! Anyway, I've never encountered such a strange and unprofessional audit system before and won't go through the trouble of ordering from them again.
