That was a few years ago but to this day I still feel strongly about this salon so here it (finally) is: I went for some blond highlights and left with an orange hair. On top of that, I didn’t need a blow dry, so they left me with a towel on my head , handed me a comb and a hair drier and said: here it is, sort yourself. and they left me there alone. So my hair colourist didn’t even see the result of her “masterpiece”. Never again! (Ps. That was a week before my wedding)

Would leave 0 star if I could. This reception lady is the rudest person I think I have ever met there were two girls on the desk the one sat closest to the salon was absolutely lovely could not fault her but the other one closest to the door she looked at me in disgust?! when I asked about my appointment and she couldn’t find me very very sharp and rude. She then looked quite short with the other girl which made me feel uncomfortable to see as she was asking her to check my appointment (she seemed stressed)I felt sorry for her. she spoke down to the other girl and she looked uncomfortable she looked quite new. Was very busy but no way to speak to me or the other girl on the desk made me not want to return!

I booked in for a root tint and balayage with Abbie and it’s the best colour I’ve ever had. Abbie was so warm and gentle in nature, she made me feel at ease straight away. I was really worried about damage as my hair is quite fine, but it’s in fact in the best condition it’s been in in years. Thank you Abbie!

Had an haircut done by Anais. She is absolutely fantastic- listened to what I wanted, made some suggestions, had done the perfect cut. 2 weeks after and it’s a great result (I hate styling my hair so they dry naturally to form the shape I wanted). Both George Northwood places are fantastic, but this one has such a chilled vibe, love it

Despite having quite thin hair, Kotryna worked her magic and gave me a cut that looks full of volume and life. She is incredibly skilled and attentive, ensuring every detail is just right. I always come back to her because I simply love the results. My hair is healthier than ever, longer, and I don't need to spend hours styling it to make it look great <3

There is only a place I trust for my hair in London and it is in George Northwood. The salon has a lovely atmosphere, modern, and relaxing. Oli is incredibly attentive and listens carefully to what I want, he gives excellent suggestion and makes me feel so good. My hair looks and feels healthier than ever. I highly recommend Oli to anyone looking for a top-notch hairdressing experience.

I had the greatest time at George Northwood Well St this week. The whole team was very warm and welcoming. Steven looked after me and gave me such a good haircut / makeover. I have received so many compliments since then on how fresh and stylish I look.

Abbie is my favourite hairdresser in London! We recently did a big colour change, taking my damaged bleached/pink tint hair to a deep plum in one sitting. I know hairdressers don't work miracles but that's pretty close! Abbie gave me confidence, good advice and clarity every step of the way. She set my expectations well, offered a suggestion of how to get the plum I had in mind to be the most flattering for my complexion. Great experience and Abbie is great company at the salon 🖤
