"When: Daily, 12-6pm The Deal: $11 for half-dozen oysters; $21 for a dozen oysters; $13 specialty cocktails; $11 wine; $7-$9 beer At Fish Cheeks, a popular Thai restaurant in Noho, you’ll probably encounter a wait, but the food will be worth it. Come by during the afternoon Happy Hour when there’s less of a wait, or head over at 5pm for the same deals." - willa moore, neha talreja, will hartman
"The Deal: $45 Lunch, $60 Dinner For excellent Thai food below 14th Street, make a reservation at Fish Cheeks, home to some of the most luxurious coconut crab curry in the five boroughs. It's a good place to bring a friend who you’ve been meaning to catch up with, or better yet, come alone and have all the hunks of tender crab to yourself. And if the zabb wings are available, get those too." - bryan kim, willa moore, sonal shah, neha talreja, will hartman, molly fitzpatrick
"The Deal: $45 Lunch, $60 Dinner A $60 meal isn't anything unusual at Fish Cheeks. It's around what you'll spend on any given night at this Noho Thai spot. But with this deal, you'll get try more than you normally would. Stop by with a few friends, and have everyone choose different things from the three-course set menu that has options like grilled cuttlefish, wok-fried skate, and the restaurant's famous coconut crab curry." - bryan kim
"If we were 100% certain it wouldn’t get into our eyes, ears, and noses, we’d dive into a pool of the coconut crab curry from Fish Cheeks in Noho. It’s a little sweet with a good amount of spice and big chunks of crab hidden on the bottom, and we often eat it straight without any of the rice on the side. The fragrant po tak soup is another great thing to share with one or two people (the portions here are mostly family-size), and we love the fact that every table gets free shrimp chips with dense, fishy chili jam. The bright, noisy space is always packed, even on a Monday—but if you don’t mind drinking somewhere else for an hour or so, just put your name in for a few seats at the bar." - bryan kim, hannah albertine, nikko duren, arden shore, will hartman
"This Thai go-to features a daily happy hour from noon to 6 p.m., with a half-dozen oysters for $12 (a dozen for $22), and drinks from $7 to $13." - Eater Staff
