Yelp
Cute homey trattoria in Fiesole. I ordered the zuppa - ribollita alla florentina and crespelle alla florentina- very hearty, good. The ribolita is a Tuscan white bean soup and tasted like turkey stuffing with white beans in it/ there was no broth. I guess I didn't know what I was ordering and not too excited to try this. Ambiance and service were great!

Yelp
A visit to Fiesole led us here for lunch. A gem. Located on the main square. A windy cab ride back to Florence was beautiful.

Yelp
Wonderful little, cozy restaurant on the main square of Fiesole. The food was great, particularly the Florentino steak - cooked perfectly, accompanied by fresh tomatoes and roasted potatoes. The service was perfect - efficient and attentive.

Yelp
Our hotel recommended Perseus and we dined there in June, 2023. It is located right off the main piazza and offered outside dining under colorful umbrellas. We found Fiesole to be about 15 degrees cooler than Florence and amazingly uncrowded. We were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered beer and a half liter of white wine. The libations and a bag of bread were promptly served. My wife ordered ravioli in a white sauce and found it to be very tasty and rich. I ordered tagliatelle with squid in a red sauce. At first bite I was transported back to my childhood as this was a dish my mother used to make but one that I hadn't had for more than 30 years. It tasted just like my mother's-perfectly done with squid that was tender and a sauce that was rich with a perfect touch of heat. We were not rushed and enjoyed dallying over our meal and finishing our drinks. The service was excellent and the cost was so reasonable. We recommend this restaurant highly!

Yelp
Wow what a lunch! We took the bus up the mountain from Florence (20 mins). Right in the square, across from the drop off is a little restaurant called Perseus. It is late November but the sun was shining and what the hell we are in Italy! Of course we are going to take a table outside!! There were six of us so we started with a large bottle or Chianti. The tables are set with large colorful pottery plates. The waiter was really nice and spoke some English. The prices were around 10 euros per meal-7 euros for a pizza. They had a specials board which is where you will find the best choices. The food came out quickly but they do not rush you at all. I had a buffalo mozzarella gnocchi dish. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly with a light tomato sauce and tasted like heaven. Two in our group ordered the seafood paella for two. It was amazing. Look at my picture!!Came out in a large iron pan and really could have fed four. Baby Squid, chunks of calamari, clams, mussels and large shrimp that looked like little lobsters. The rice had peas, red peppers throughout. We all had some and agreed that it was great. My husband had a lasagne(of course!) this was a terrific meal and it only cost each couple $26 euros. That includes the wine! If your in Florence take the bus up there you won't regret it.

Yelp
Come on, 1 star is already too much for this place, crowded, noisy, with lousy service and less than regular food. We ordered "risotto al nero di seppie". It was served in less than five minutes. It was simply plain untasty rice mixed with untasty squids and with a lot of "black ink". However the mixed seafood appetizer was quite reasonable... By the way, the terrace has no view of Florence, our primary reason for going to have dinner in Fiesole
