Exceed Physical Culture

I've been to a lot of gyms in my time living in NYC, and I've finally found the best. Group fitness trainers are incredibly knowledgeable, staff is friendly, equipment is excellent. The exceed group classes are really well organized. Each instructor is different and brings a different layer/level to the workout, so you always have something new to challenge yourself. I used to find it a chore to go workout, but now I look forward to my 5am wake-up!

As an avid fitness goer in NYC, I know a good studio when I see one. Staff is attentive, studio is clean. Expect to sweat. Classes are tough and keep you moving. Wish the locker room/shower space was larger.

I've taken several classes here and I'm definitely a fan. The other students are an interesting mix with several young VERY fit women and a few older men who for the most part keep up. I fell somewhere in between :) You through different circuits including kettlebells, pushups, jumping rope, rowing, lifting medicine balls and always come back to the TRX bands. The teachers will corrected your form a few times, which I appreciate because that's the kind of attention you generally only get in a personal training or small group training, which is what Exceed, well, exceeds at. The facility is super clean, spacious, and conveniently located. They have 3 showers and lockers with electronic padlocks. They also have a wide array of supplies should you need: combs, hairbands, tampons, Q-tips, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotions, and I'm sure I'm missing a few other things. I'll definitely be back if I can score another visit on Classpass.

Wow. Like seriously, wow. Just took my first class there and holy moly, it’s INTENSE. I loved the fast pace and full body workout. Can’t wait to go again after I pass out on my couch for the next week!!

Front staff is amazing. Trainers are not worth the price considering they have degrees.
