We had a lovely dinner at Enoteca Corsi. The place has a rustic, simple charm — no music, a bit lively and loud, which I actually found refreshing and enjoyable.
We were three, and the staff kindly prepared a tagliere for us with different prosciutti, salumi, cheese, and mozzarella di bufala. Everything was delicious and clearly of high quality. We also tried the amatriciana, which my father absolutely loved, and shared a very good bottle of wine at a very reasonable price (28 euros).
The wine selection was good, though rather limited — about four reds and four whites — so I personally wouldn’t really call it an “enoteca.” Still, what we had was excellent.
For dessert, we had tiramisu. While the flavor was nice, it felt a bit too creamy and light on mascarpone, more like panna montata — not quite what I expected. Still, it was a small detail in an otherwise excellent meal.
Service was warm and personal and the gentleman who helped us (possibly the owner) made the experience even more memorable. Overall, a truly lovely trattoria experience in Rome. Five stars well deserved.
