The Best Cinema Food and Where to Eat in London Cinemas | Eater London

"This bright and polished branch of the Picturehouse chain doubles as a great brunch spot. The buzzing all-day cafe prides itself on the local provenance of its dishes, with locally-sourced meat, herbs grown on site, and an extensive wine list showcasing several English wines. The snack bar is also a cut above, a lovely selection of artisanal treats displayed around large bunches of fresh flowers." - Leila Latif

This is a beautiful three-screen cinema that has a café-bar and a garden terrace. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I asked for information, and the service at the concession area was quick. I watched the new F1 movie in Screen One. The seats were comfortable, the auditorium was a good size, and the air conditioning was working well. I highly recommend this cinema!

Stopped off at the Picture House Cafe for iced flat white coffees and some mochi ice cream,😋. Perfect on this sunny and hot Saturday in East Dulwich. The staff are always friendly and polite. I love it here.

Pleasant atmosphere for mind indulgence and room to bring ideas to live or entertain the brain. Plenty of space to settle for a nice coffee!

Great cinema, friendly staff, cafe and garden areas is nice, you don't get that in the average cinema, makes the experience feel unique. Cinema snacks are a bit pricey, but I guess that's to be expected. Memberships seem to be a good option if regularly attending. Sofa seats at the back are comfortable, and toilets seem very clean. The location is great with nearby bus stops and shops.

Lovely and kind staff. Cinema has a nice vibe to it and very clean, nothing like Odeon..a shame they can only show so many films in a day but I would choose this cinema over the others.

Feels incredible to be back at the cinema. Very well organised, beautiful cinema on the high street in East Dulwich, a brilliant vibrant area in SE and a must go area if not been already. The cinema itself didn't disappoint, all picturehouses we have been to have been great to be fair. What we liked most about this one was the set up, the feel as you walk in and what we love about these cinemas you feel like your going into a cinema theatre and looking forward to the experience. Choice of drinks was ace and popcorn🍿 was lovely! The film we saw was 'The father' wow a solid film, highly recommend. We give it A***** LDT x

Real shame the booking system makes it impossible to book for two members. The old system was great, meant you could book easily and sit together. Please sort it out.

Yelp
Wonderful cinema in keeping with the Picturehouse tradition. Great cafe/bar -- serving the best blueberry muffin I have ever eaten -- and a really good film selection. What makes it for me are the various clubs and groups such as Big Scream (watch a film with your baby without having to worry about your baby disturbing others) and offering of Autism- and Dementia-friendly screenings. Becoming a member here was a no-brainer.

Yelp
I love this wee cinema in the heart of Dulwich. It shows cool films and has a great family feel to it. The restaurant/bar serves pretty good food and I think the kids size popcorn is perfect for a normal human. The seats are pretty comfy with good leg room but MOST importantly, it's not baltic inside. Infact, it's the perfect temperature.

Yelp
The EDPicturehouse is a fantastic addition to the community. It's charming and the selection of movies usually runs the gamut from Holllywood to Indy. The couches are comfy and the cafe is perfect for a pre movie chat (or post movie debate). While the drinks and snacks are reasonably priced, for 12-13 pound a ticket, I generally opt for the PeckhamPlex (5 pound all the time!). That being said, the price falls to 6 to 7 pound Monday nights and so that's when you'll find me there and I would definitely recommend it for a lovely night out!

Yelp
What a great place for a movie. I love how cozy and family friendly it is while still being a visually 'cool' place. The ticket counter is clever and the candy offerings are perfect. The cafe offers decent food but if you'd rather step out there are tons of bear by options. There are plenty of showing times, large comfy seat - there are even sofas to snuggle up on. If you plan on going to this cinema more then occasionally I would suggest signing up for the members club.

Yelp
One of the most pleasant cinema experiences around; you'll pay for it though! Restaurant in the front (and garden in the back) is excellent for meals/drinks whether you're seeing something or not. Definitely recommended if you're in SE22 (:
