Nice place for tourist fun. The falls are cool and you have access to the beach. Plan your trip early so you don't miss out, they close at 4pm. They have lockers and non-slip shoes available for climbing the falls.

I enjoyed Dunns River Falls. I have been there so many times. It's a nice and safe place for tourists to enjoy the beach and the waterfalls all in one. Climbing the falls can be challenging, but having guides makes it a lot easier because they do recommend the best places to step as you climb the fall. They sell water shoes, which you will need to climb the falls, or you can bring your own. There are lockers you can rent to store your belongings safely, which is convenient. I use my Jamaican passport when I am home since it allows me to pay the local fee to get it. If I am not mistaken, it was either $1000 or $1500 Jamaican dollars for adults (about $6-$10 US dollars). My husband and other family members who didn't have their Jamaican passport had to pay $25 US. Children are definitely cheaper, about $15. I like that the property has fruit trees, and if you are lucky, you make get some fruits. It's a great place to send the day while enjoying both the fresh and salt water.

One of the most beautiful hikes! You get to actually hike through these breathtaking falls. The guides do a fantastic job. You have the option of buying video footage at the end, but you can take your own. Definitely worth seeing.

This was a lovely experience I climbed from the beach all the way to the top which was rather challenging at times. I didn't use a guide as I felt it was rather rushed with the tour guide. But they do you up safely and show you where to step without falling as much.

Cool, very fun place to visit. The guides are fun and helpful climbing to the top. Beautiful cascading waterfalls, make sure you have your waterproof case for your phone. You will get wet from head to toe. Water shoes are an absolute MUST! They won't let you head up without them so make sure you are prepared! Don't bother bringing a bag unless you want to get a storage locker to use. I brought my GoPro but you will be huffing up the falls using both hands to hold on in certain places. The guides will help you take the path of least resistance and where you won't slip. Great for pictures and taking a dip!

We took an excursion from our resort to visit Dunn’s River Falls, and the journey there was smooth and enjoyable. We sailed on a catamaran, which was a fun and relaxing way to get to the falls. Upon arrival, everything seemed well-organized. They split us into smaller groups, each with a guide, which made it feel more personalized. However, I’ll admit I hadn’t done enough research beforehand, so I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. Our guide instructed us to hold hands in a human chain and led us to the bottom of the falls. As we started walking toward the water, I noticed another group climbing up the falls, holding hands and navigating through the rushing water and slippery rocks. At that point, I decided to opt out of the climb. It looked far more challenging than I had anticipated, and I wasn’t comfortable with the idea of climbing up the waterfall in those conditions. I was also surprised by the difficulty level of the hike, which, in my opinion, is VERY difficult. No one had mentioned this beforehand, and they only had us sign a waiver form, without giving a clear explanation of what we would be doing. I’m 54 with weak knees, and this activity was not suitable for me. If you’re not confident in your physical abilities or have concerns about balance and mobility, I’d highly recommend reconsidering this excursion. For me, it’s a “no-go” for those with similar limitations. Ultimately, I believe activities should be fun and safe, without unnecessary risks. Instead of attempting the challenging climb, I opted to take the steps up to the waterfall. Along the way, there are exits where you can enter the falls and enjoy the water at different points. Unfortunately, no one informed us about these options, which would have been helpful to know in advance.

A very fun climb of the falls. Extremely sketchy, I was afraid I could slip. No handrails, though if you make it to the top, which most people do you'll be exhilarated. Under any circumstances do not walk down the Falls use the steps on the side
