"Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Caribbean-inspired restaurant, part of the Four Seasons's Ocean Club on Paradise Island, is unquestionably the chicest dining spot on the island. After enjoying your Bahamian conch salad or pizza topped with local lobster, take a wander around the breezy property, which includes a beautiful, colonnaded Versailles-style garden."

This restaurant gets an overall 3 for average. In comparison to other restaurants it was a step above. The setting and ambiance is very beautiful and right on the water. The food was “okay” but certainly it on par with other Four Seasons restaurants we have been to nor Chef-owned quality we have enjoyed elsewhere. The service was slightly better than the terrible and rude service we have been experiencing throughout Nassau. Seriously though, a restaurant that says it is part of Four Seasons needs to be well above the rest and this sadly was not. We ordered steak that had to be returned because was incorrectly cooked, the salmon was very good, the organic chicken was good but not amazing, the lamb chops were okay but the sauce saved them, the beet salad was very good, the burrata was very wet and runny and lacked flavor. The desserts were underwhelming and their presentation was lacking. The children did not enjoy their meals. The last thing that was abysmal was they tossed the sharing plates for the desserts at us instead of placing them in front of us. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. Cost was about $180 per adult.

Huge disappointment. We ordered the Black Plate Appetizer Sampler ($100 for 2) and what we got was laughable—fried shrimp, soggy “crispy” rice, and a samosa that didn’t belong on the plate. The only highlight was the conch salad, but honestly, you can get the same (or better) quality at the Fish Fry for a fraction of the price. The lobster was overcooked, and the curry garnish added nothing. Fries weren’t crispy and didn’t even come out hot. We sent back the Brussels sprouts altogether. Overall, the entire experience was underwhelming and not worth the money. For the same price point, we had a much better meal at Nobu—not by the waves, but at least the food was excellent. Would not recommend this spot.

Here's Option 1 for your review, ready to copy: A Mixed Bag: Superb Food, but Service and Price Points Miss the Mark My recent dining experience offered some truly spectacular highs, but also a few significant lows. The atmosphere was undeniably amazing – beautiful, modern, and incredibly chic, setting a wonderful backdrop for the evening. The food was the absolute star. I can confidently say that the salmon was one of the best dishes I've ever had in my life. Every bite was a revelation, perfectly prepared and bursting with incredible flavors. The desserts were equally fantastic, a perfect sweet ending to an otherwise superb meal. However, like much of Nassau, this restaurant comes with a very steep price tag. What truly disappointed me was that the service simply did not resonate with the premium price paid. I've had the pleasure of dining at other high-caliber chef restaurants around the world where the service was impeccable and perfectly justified the cost, often at a more reasonable price point than here. While the food is undoubtedly worth experiencing, the overall value for money, especially considering the service, left something to be desired.

Very disappointing experience. The price point reflects the Jean George standard price, but the product is no where near JG level. We dined inside, and still had to fight off a ton of flies while trying to enjoy our meal. Our table had a dead orchid on it, it was so off putting. If you have a choice between placing a dead plant on a table or no plant, go for NO PLANT, how is that JG fine dinning. We left the restaurant smelling like burnt cooking oil, our hair, clothing, I should send them my dry cleaning bill and hair salon bill, it was that bad. The food was mediocre for the price. The tuna was grey instead of red, the mashed potatoes were bland and just soaked in butter with zero flavor. The dessert was so inedible we had to send it back. At $150 per person, this felt like a rip off. To add further insult to injury, they add a 15% mandatory tip to the check AND force you to leave additional tip when paying the check.

My family and I visited Atlantis for both my wife’s and daughter’s birthdays. My daughter said she wanted dinner with a beach view for hers and after a little research, I came across Dune. I was having a very hard time snagging a reservation at first, so I tried emailing the restaurant, and was pleasantly surprised at how accommodating they were to honor my request. The weather wasn’t great the night we went so we couldn’t eat outside, but the gave us a great table on the deck and left one of the shades up for her. Everything about this place is amazing. First off, it’s a beautiful place. Second, the service was top notch from start to finish. Lastly, the food was terrific…best we had the entire week. Yes, it’s expensive, but you have to expect that just about everywhere in Bahamas. Surprisingly though, it wasn’t the most expensive dinner we had! If you are questioning where you can have a great dinner with a view, make a reservation at Dune! You will NOT be disappointed!

My husband and I dined here on a Wednesday night out without a reservation. Got there right as it opened and was no problem. The food was all great. I recommend the salmon with crispy rice and save room for the Dune sundae!!!

Atmosphere is great. It’s Four Seasons.. Food is okayish. Nothing special and definitely not worth the price. Service is pretty bad. Had to wait for 20 minutes with 3 other family members and at the end was fooled to leave a 35% tip. The guy literally gave me the credit card reader first and I left a 20% tip, minute later he gave me the check which had an included tip of 15%. This is a not great look for this place. I would not recommend this place to honorable people. Stealing is not welcome in a better world..
