Extremely disappointing experience.
Called to make a reservation 4 days before I arrived this place. Person on the phone confirmed it.
When I arrived with my family, we were received the man on the picture. He was extremely rude — he told me there were no reservations and then walked away, leaving me talking to myself with no explanation or help.
Later, we got a table thanks to a servicial woman who was a waitress. Our food, even beverages took about 35 minutes to arrive. I can understand the wait for the food, but for 4 coffees and 2 breads? Food took even longer.
The same guy who received us was rude the whole time, my father asked for a spoon and he throwed it to him, it was a disgrace. Later, my mother (who is an elderly woman) asked for the bathroom, and he didn't even looked at her.
What's wrong with this place keeping this kind of awful people "serving"? and if there is no reservations, why dont they coordinate themselves? even worse, why not make an effort and apologize for the misunderstanding in such case?
After visiting several restaurants in New York recently, coming back and seeing this kind of behavior for the prices you charge is honestly a shame. It was painful to visit this restaurant, definitely don't recommend, never coming back.
Food was not bad but picaña sandwich was poorly served, and didn´t tasted like picaña, it was more like pulled pork. Coffee was delicious but is Buna's, in that case I'd rather go there.
