Half the population of Buenos Aires is of Italian descent, however, Italian food is not as prevalent as other cuisines. Chef Donato de Santis owns Cucina Paradiso and serves authentic pasta dishes. Dine on agnolotti con el plin made with Puglia braised lamb, orecchiette and cavatelli maritatta (marriage of two pastas).

Cucina Paradiso in Palermo Soho is an absolute delight, providing a truly heavenly Italian dining experience that stands out from the crowd. We were thoroughly impressed by the classic Spaghetti Carbonara, which was executed perfectly - rich, creamy with just the right bite to the pasta, and wonderfully savory from the guanciale. Equally memorable was the Tiramisu, a light, decadent finish that sealed the meal beautifully. Beyond the superb food, the service elevated our evening, thanks in large part to our waiter, Jose, who was excellent - attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm, ensuring every detail was perfect from start to finish. We highly recommend this spot for anyone seeking authentic Italian flavors and top-tier service.

Great spot for Italian! Fernando was super sweet, and our other servers were spectacular too. Dishes always changing, but the tortellini was excellent. Risotto good too 👌 Around $25 USD per person. PS the focaccia was amazing!

One of the best pastas I tried in Buenos Aires. The foccacia they offer as courtsey is so delicious. The pasta is so fresh and full of flavor. They have a store that sells their products. Good service, delicious food, totally recommended

Even with my inability to speak Spanish, the service was second to none. I had a glass of Malbec wine, the lasagna with béchamel instead of being tomato based and then the tiramisu. The meal and wine was delicious, I need to come back during my short stay in Buenos Aires.

Argentina is known for its pasta and this place was no exception! The pasta was incredible. I had the carbonara and my husband had the panzzotiPerfectly cooked and seasoned. We shared gorgeous fresh salad and the breaded stuffed olives to start! Jose was knowledge and friendly and helped me pick the perfect wine to go with my dish! Molto bene!!

Sicilian speaking here: the food is absolutely delicious! This is proper southern italian cuisine done right! The fool-proof menu picks items are: - complementary focaccia - arancini - crostone partenopeo - antipasto del terrone - busiate (pasta) - and for dessert: cannolo siciliano (of course) CP, if your focaccia is already that good, why not introduce Buenos Aires to the magic of Sicilian sfincione?

First the bread came with a puddle of oil, then the 1/2 burrata was kinda dry like a regular mozzarella, I asked kindly to change the pasta on my dish, they regretted it’s not possible. I had a starter and a main course for above 40000 ARS and left still hungry. The main course was the best though, very tasty and made me change from two to three stars. Overall I wouldn’t recommend.
