The vibe is so nice, I am surprised that korean restaurants have this kind of vibe. It's rare to find it. Its not intimidating to dine alone. The manager is attentive and has a good sense of service. I'll definitely go back to try something else next time. 😁

Highly recommend the grilled pork collar — it pairs beautifully with the refreshing lettuce salad. The spicy dressing and tangy white wine vinegar balance the richness of the grilled meat, making it surprisingly light. The vinegar is definitely the highlight. The truffle udon was decent, though a bit heavy on the cream. As for the marinated soy crab, it wasn’t really my thing, but could be interesting for those who enjoy that flavor.

The food was delicious and the service was great! The soy marinated crab was so fresh and yummy and it pairs really well with rice (which is an extra $3). My favourite was the rosé tteok-bokki with their homemade sauce! We ordered mostly heavier food items this visit but will return for more!!

This restaurant has very friendly service but the space can get very busy. The waiter was friendly and provided efficient service. The food was amazing especially the soy raw marinated crab and the hot pot soup (would definitely recommend). The truffle udon is good but very heavy. Overall it was a fantastic experience dining here. Will be back with the homies for a second time!

Comma was a fun experience! We went to celebrate a birthday, but no particular birthday-related activities happened so can't speak to that aspect of it. The food was fine, we ordered the soy marinated crab, mini bossam, and army stew, all of which were mediocre or fine. The soy marinated crab didn't taste incredibly fresh, but the seasoning and flavour was good. I probably wouldn't order the army stew again as it was good, but it wasn't outstanding. The mini bossam was good and the side salad with it was very much welcome, but I wouldn't order this if you're expecting a more traditional bossam experience. Overall, I wouldn't come here again, but the service was incredible! The server was extremely attentive and friendly and did a great job. The food is okay, nothing to write home about, but if you want a place to get a bite with a friend and get a couple of drinks, Comma might meet your needs.

this was really good food. there wasn't enough cocktail options. especially if your not a fan of gin. it could have been a little spicier. it was really fun coming it was first time even though I didn't finish it lol.

Google
Phenomenal korean food! Was thoroughly impressed with every dish I tried. Though the price point is high for korean food, they successfully live up to it with their tasty dishes. The grilled pork collar and rose sauce tteok-boki were our favourites of the night. Great date spot, highly recommend!

Google
Great spot for a group gathering, or night time hangout with food and drinks! Drinks’ price point is on the higher end compared to similar bars but not unreasonable. Decent variety on menu. Food was delicious. Seating was fairly comfortable. Recommended dishes: Oden, soy marinated crab, the drinks, and desserts

Yelp
Great place to try out some more unique Korean dishes! Came here a group dinner and service was amazing. Immaculate vibes. Will be happy to return soon!

Yelp
When the heat wave hits, and you're on Queen West, and nothing catches your eye until you see a sign for a Korean restaurant...well, I think spicy food is a good way to fight the heat, so I headed on in. I was the first one there, so service was quick. Who I am assuming was one of the owners sat me down quickly. He was really friendly! Menu is QR code, which I am not a huge fan of, but what are you gonna do in 2024? I ordered a klmchi blblmbap appetizer and a three way pancake as the main. The appetizer was so good. Spicy, a bit sweet, some saltiness from the nori shreds, and a bit of perfectly cooked rice. (They apparently make their own kimchi, and it is very nice.) The three ways of the pancake are kimchi (50%), potato (25%), AMD seafood (25%). The kimchi was nice and mildly spicy, the potato served as a palate refresher, but the seafood was the star of the show. Creamy texture, whole shrimps and pieces of squid, the soft onions really coming out...yum! It also came with shreds of pickled peppers and a soy chili sauce for wrapping and/or dipping. The decor...if you showed me a photo and said "Hey buddy, guess what kind of cuisine?", I would have said "French?" They say they are going for a modern Korean vibe, and there they succeed . The vibe is also geared to a younger crowd, based on the background music and the average age of the patrons who came in while I was eating. Didn't bother me, but some older people might feel differently. Finally, I get the comments about menu prices and portion sizes, but this place is aiming at elevated dining, and I don't know how much cheaper other finer dining establishments in the area are. All in all, a place I would visit again for a special occasion. It feels like a newer open, so I'm curious what the experience would be like in six months.

Yelp
I came here for dinner and ordered: - Spicy Raw Marinated Crab ($32) - Potato Pancake ($28) - Strawberry makgeolli ($30) The raw marinated crab does not come with rice, even though the menu says, "It is paired with rice to balance out its salty and spicy taste." I ended up ordering a side of rice, which cost $2.90. The crab itself has a very strong flavor. Since I haven't tried this dish elsewhere, I don't have much to compare it to, but it matched my expectations overall. The rice was quite bad though - it was not fresh and overcooked. The strawberry makgeolli is served in a fairly large pitcher and is quite sweet. The potato pancake was enjoyable. It was crispy without being overly oily, though I felt they used a bit too much mayo. It comes with a vinegar-based dipping sauce, which I really liked. The service was good, and the food arrived quickly. Overall, I'd say this spot is better for bar snacks and drinks rather than a full meal. They have happy hour specials after 9 p.m., and the vibe is nice. However, it's not a traditional Korean restaurant, as it doesn't serve banchan with the dishes. It's also a bit on the expensive side.

Yelp
A fine Korean restaurant located on Queen Street. Loved the cool vibe and music, it's a nice option for date night. Food is great, plating is modern while has the color of Korean food. Potato jeon and Soy marinated crab is a must. Manager was super friendly and helpful during our stay. Highly recommand this place!

Yelp
Had a fabulous Summerlicious dinner at Comma for $45 per person. We were first served an iced Korean red vinegar beverage before our meal. We then had (in reverse) coffee chocolate mousse and strawberry shortcake, miso salmon with cold noodles, kalbi with chestnut rice, kimchi and japchae banchans, potato pancakes and sliced beef with the most delicious burrito cheese. Service was also great, we will definitely return to try their regular menu soon!

Yelp
Comma was a lovely Korean spot to catch up with friends. I liked the ambience, and the restaurant was constantly busy on a Wednesday evening. We ordered the spicy marinated crab, seafood pancake, cheese tteokbokki, and fries. I think almost every table had gloves on, so the crab was a clear favourite. I personally really liked the pancake as well. Prices were a little elevated, but not surprising for a trendy, downtown spot. Service was pretty slow, much slower than a normal restaurant. Otherwise, we had a pleasant experience.

Yelp
Overpriced and poor service (selectively) First, the food wasn't impressive. The crab was fine but too pricey when compared to uptown Korean restaurants. The beef tartar wasn't the flavour I liked. Too sweet that it overpowered the freshness of the meat. The cheese taboki was mediocre, the rice cakes were kind of separated from the sauce and the cheese. The server wasn't nice too, she told me to go to a table and pointed at one but I then found out it wasn't cleaned yet, I told her and she said I was SUPPOSED to go to the table at the back. Ok but another customer already put her bag on one of the chairs... And btw I did make a reservation. When I was about to order, she stopped me and suddenly found somebody else. (They were having a big group afterwards and wanted us to leave earlier but another server just told us it doesn't matter)... It is very impolite to stop a customer when they are ordering and leave without saying anything. I feel mistreated at the first place when I was standing like nobody at the front door without anyone directing me to a table. (They were good to the big group of customers though Just because the restaurant has good deco doesn't make it a good one

Yelp
Interesting spot but left very dissapointed. We were sat down and then forgotten about for atleast 20 mins and the service continuted to be a major distraction for the entire evening. Checking on drinks, flagging down servers not our own, etc... Orederd 3 main dishes for 2 people to share and portion sizes were solid. Jiamppong- Broth had some good heat to it and the noodles were excellent very al dente but overall i thought there could be more depth of falvour achieved in the broth and it was lacking in the seafood department Fried Bissam with yuzu salad- Pork beelly its self was yummy friend very well but tyhere was almost no salad and virtually no yuzo detecable in the dish and it needed a sauce. The spicy thai style dipping sauce on the side lacked head and flavour Bulgogi pancake with Burrata- This was a bit of a head scratched for both of us. When it arrived at the table we actually had to ask for clarification to make sure we had the right dish as there was no pancake. The dish was tasty but this is a completely Italian dish with barrata and the whole dish covered in a hard cheese

Yelp
New Korean restaurant/bar with a modern interior, it's a nice spot to take photos, the dinnerware was aesthetic too. QR code menu only. We got the grilled pork collar which included spicy salad and gochujang garlic sauce. The portion was very small for the price (32.99 before tax and tip). There were also a lot of pieces of fat, which are inedible. Overall the entire dish was very strong flavours, would be nice if it came with rice, but it didn't. Service was just ok, server was polite. Washrooms downstairs, inaccessible. Probably would not come again due to how expensive it is.

Yelp
Perilla oil noodles were to die for, may have went over budget and ordered two of them simply because they were too good. Tteokbokki was extremely spicy but a fun challenge to finish. Cozy upscale atmosphere. A great reminder of how vibrant and beautiful this city is.

Yelp
Comma is a fairly new Korean spot serving old favourites with a modern twist. The food menu is extremely creative, with the rosé rice cake dish being an interesting hit, and they had plenty of great classics such as kalbi ribs, marinated crab, and spicy fried chicken. All of the dishes were great, though the prices are definitely on the higher side considering the small portions. I really liked the vibe of the place, but the service struggled - particularly with clearing our table and making sure our order was correct and coursed properly. Overall it was a great place to try at least once.

Yelp
Came for dinner for the first time and we enjoyed our visit! The interior of the restaurant is designed very nicely - I really like the vibes and they had a fun cocktail menu. For food, we started with the Chicken Karaage, then got the Grilled Pork Belly + Beef Joladang as mains. We were happy with our choices. I liked the sauce they put on the Karaage - a little tangy with a kick. Service was good, everything came out quickly and I think the 2 of us were in and out within 45 minutes of our reservation.

Yelp
Our meal at Comma was very good. We primarily came to try the spicy raw marinated crab, but we also ordered the tofu stew which was very flavorful and the black bean noodles, which we also enjoyed. Our favorite was the spicy Kalbijjim with pork short ribs. For the cocktails we tried the Donkey Kick (excellent) and the strawberry saffron Negroni (just OK). Service was attentive and the ambiance was elegant (fine-casual dining). Overall, a memorable meal and we would return to try some of these dishes.

Yelp
Overall a cool bar with Korean fusoon eats and cocktails. Went there 3 tines to enjoy some food like the beef tartare and pork neck which were good. Most recent time was seafood pancake and seafood udon. The pancake was good with lots of shrimp while the udon lacked some taste and seafood. They have an all day $5 beer special.

Yelp
All the foods and drinks are really amazing. The service was great. Ambiance was very cozy And romantic. I really recommend this place. There are lots of vegan menu as well.
