"Explore the Church of San Rocco While the climb is quite literally breathtaking (900 steps), the Church of San Rocco, perched on the very edge of the Ligurian Sea, is a gorgeous spot to spend the day. Taking the train to Camogli, you can then spend the morning hiking up to the church and enjoying the beautiful altar piece and frescoes. Coming back down into town, make sure you stop by one of the many seaside restaurants for a celebratory lunch, and grab a gelato from one of the boardwalk stands on your way back to the train station!"

Very nice play with a spectacular view at the Mediterranean Sea. Here, can visit a view bars and find the way to Portofino (2 hours walk), can go swimming (be aware, just rocks and steep), or walk to Camoglie downtown. When you drive by car, be aware that it is ZTL, calculate 10min more for walking. Which is nice and beautifully

The walk from Camogli is easy, though it is uphill. The entire way is paved, and on most stretches you can choose either steps or a slope that scooters take. You'll pass a few houses, and other walkers and joggers, so it feels quite safe. The views are unremarkable until you reach San Rocco.
