This establishment knows what it’s doing!!!! I got the original chicken sandwich with an over easy egg & bacon added 😫 words won’t do it justice! Don’t get me started on the fried Brussels sprouts! && the biscuits were PERFECTION with that honey butter! The atmosphere was definitely a vibe. The staff is super friendly!

This restaurant is in Soho House, and it is on the second floor. When you walk in the front of Soho House, there will be a lot of people who are ignoring you , go to your right, pass the bar and go all the way to the stairs. Walk up the stairs, down the hallway and you will arrive in the chicken and farm shop. The rustic decor is in sharp contrast to the rest of Soho house, and I was told by our waiter that the space used to be a leather shop. The menu is chicken, chicken, and more chicken, soup and salad or burgers. For dessert your have your choice of apple pie, brownie, or banana pudding. The drinks menu is more extensive and they offer soft drinks, cocktails, beer and wine or milkshakes. We took the advice of both our waiter and Yelp reviewers and ordered the chicken and waffles and the fried chicken sandwich. We've never had the chicken and waffles before, and boy are we glad that we did. Really, really enjoyed it. The fried chicken sandwich was huge and we actually ended up splitting the chicken and waffles and taking the chicken sandwich home. Our side was the coleslaw, which was a large bowl and was shared by two people. If you order one of the lunch specials, you have a choice of a dirty burger or a dirty Cop Out Burger, the fried chicken sandwich, or a quarter chicken. These are each served with your choice of one side and a soft drink or iced tea. For dessert we had apple pie which was very authentic American, great tasting and reminded me of the kind your mom used to make. The restaurant is very casual and I would recommend making a reservation for the weekends. They definitely know how to do chicken, and I look forward to returning to trying one of their burgers.

My friend and I have chicken and waffles in every new city we visit and our Chicago search led us here. The fried chicken was delicious and nothing close to greasy and the waffle was fluffy and cooked to perfection. The service was a little slow but they were very friendly and the atmosphere was very comfortable and inviting.

Best chicken and waffle in Chicago. Atmosphere is amazing, transport you to the country side. One nice thing is that you could order from the Allis bar; they have exotic juices (ginger apple the best). I had ordered the chicken benedicts that are original. Must to try.

Great atmosphere. Delicious chicken. Super crispy and juicy. I got their chicken and waffles. They have their own smokey sauce and spicy sauce; both delicious in their own way. I've had their chicken sandwich before and that was amazing!!!

Wait staff is friendly and attentive. This is a nice place to have drinks and a quiet enough atmosphere to enjoy conversation with a friend. But the food was very underwhelming. I was expecting better given the great reviews. Had the chicken nuggets as an app, the breading was unique but a bit dry. Had the chicken quarter (dark meat) which some bites were incredibly juicy and some were incredibly dry. Collards were excellent. Mac and cheese, chili was rather bland and tasteless.

Quite possibly one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. 👍 Fulton Market is home of the best food in Chicago, so choosing a restaurant is a tough choice. My wife and I went in for lunch. She got the Chicken and Waffles ($15) and I got the Dirty Chicken Sandwich ($16 pictured below). Chicken and waffles tasted great. Waffle was plate-size and the chicken on top was super crispy. Would recommend. My Dirty Chicken Sandwich had fried chicken and a burger, along with tomato, lettuce, pickles, cheese all under one bun. I can't say I've ever had a mixture of the two proteins in the same sandwich before and it worked wonderfully.

Hands down best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. I’m not sure what kind of batter they use for it but it’s so light and fluffy. Before you douse your waffle in maple syrup make sure you try their house hot sauce. So good! We ended up purchasing a bottle to take home with us. I would order the macaroni and cheese and fried brussels sprouts again. I didn’t care for the cornbread and biscuits. They were bland for my taste, but didn’t take away from the overall rating of the meal.
