This is a fun little spot for a burger and a bit of nostalgia. The line can get quite long, but I was lucky and only had a few minutes wait this time. The burger is made to order and very messy (in a good way). The fries are top notch. Seating is limited indoors, but an outdoor seating area is also available. The service is friendly, especially for this type of establishment, and the prices are reasonable. This ois a very kid-friendly place, and expect lots of families on the weekends.

My dining companion was surprised I had never been to Carneys as it is so well known and longstanding, so we went for lunch. Its claim to fame is that the whole thing is built into a couple old rail cars. We each had the New York (mustard and sauerkraut) and shared a large fries. The dog itself was good, but I found the bun to be soggy. The shoestring fries were good. Overall, I thought it was good, but for me, once was enough.

Carney’s is always an iconic stop and never disappoints! I ordered a burger, chili cheese fries, and a hot dog with family since we were in the area—classic staples that were as delicious as ever. The food is consistently great, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Even though they were doing some work on the location during my visit, it didn’t take away from the charm or the reliability that Carney’s is known for. It’s one of those places you can count on for great food and good vibes every time. Highly recommend for anyone craving classic, feel-good eats!

I’ve been going to Carney’s in Studio City since I was a kid, and it’s been a constant source of joy in my life. The service is always outstanding, the staff genuinely cares, and you can feel the pride of ownership in every detail. They don’t just care about their customers—they care about their employees, and most importantly, their FOOD. Carney’s takes no shortcuts. Every bite is made with top-tier quality ingredients, and you taste that commitment in every meal. They say they “probably have the best hot dogs in the world”—and I don’t disagree—but let me set the record straight: they absolutely have the best french fries in all the land. Golden, crispy perfection every single time. For me, it’s always the Jesse Burger, please! Carney’s is more than just a restaurant; it’s a consistent pillar of excellence and comfort. Thank you for never wavering and for continuing to deliver such a memorable experience decade after decade. See you soon, Carney’s—you’re a major winner in my book!

Google
Carney's Hot Dog / chili, mustard, tomato, onion - 5 🌟! Chicagoan / mustard, relish, onions - 5 🌟! I love the Sunset Blvd location for Carney's, and I knew about the Studio City location but had never been before. There is no real reason for that, but I was in the area to take my cat to a vet visit. I decided it was the perfect time to stop by and see what this location was like. It is just as great as their Sunset spot. They seem to have more space to spread out, but like the other location, the main feature is their rail car design, which gives the entire experience a fun visual element. I opted for their patio seating and enjoyed watching the Ventura Blvd travelers going by. I have a standard order for Carney's, a Carney dog for the chili, and a Chicagoan for no chili. I love the thick slices of tomatoes mixed with the chili, and the mustard mixed with relish is amazing on the other. They have a bigger menu that includes sides, hamburgers, and other sandwiches. Great spot with a cool vibe and awesome food.

Look... if you've never eaten a hot dog or burger inside a decommissioned train, you need to re-evaluate your life choices when it comes to food. Is this place healthy? No more than a fast food chain, but is the food worth it? No doubt in my mind. You should only come here to eat if you plan on having a good meal

Google
"FAR SUPERIOR to In n out" Totally recommend the Angus burger, add bacon, grilled onion and 1000 island dressing, and also add the split and grilled hot dog, for the ultimate burger dog experience not available anywhere on the planet. To date this is the best burger in America! ##Nofeardining tucked neatly in some 40's era railroad cars sits a los angeles icon. DO NOT MISS!!

Yelp
Carneys is bomb if you want something to humble you down after a long day of being pretentious in the city. It's charming, friendly and local. It's affordable and for ALL to enjoy. Staff is super friendly and chill. They're happy that you're there and appreciate the business. There's no frills here unless you're obsessed with the little train car diner which is a total vibe honestly.. The chili dogs here are so good. I dream about them after a late night and I thoroughly enjoy how low key it is. The fries are also delicious and remind me of the spuds we'd get back in the 90s.. I honestly want to be a regular here but my waistline says different! Parking is super easy and they have their own lot.

Yelp
Carneys is such a Valley staple. I grew up coming here and it still hits every time. The fact that it's inside a retired train car makes it extra unique, and it has both indoor and outdoor seating (I came during a rush and still managed to grab a spot). Parking is easy thanks to the lot and I usually find myself making Amazon returns at the Staples next door just to have an excuse to stop here. Food-wise, I love their vegetarian options. My go-to is the Veggie Sandwich (basically everything in a burger without the patty), but this time I tried the Garden Burger and it was also really solid. The real standout though is the Train Wreck Fries. Think In-N-Out's Animal Style fries, but in my opinion way better--loaded with cheese, grilled onions, and sauce. They're addicting and my absolute favorite thing on the menu. The inside is a little dated and the menu can feel overwhelming at first since there's a ton of choices, but honestly, the food makes up for it. Service isn't super fast, but the chefs are always friendly and the quality is consistently great. My friends who eat meat always enjoy the burgers and hot dogs. If you're in Sherman Oaks, Carneys is a must. Classic, nostalgic, and always satisfying.

Yelp
This visit was a great trip down memory lane, it's been 25 years since I have visited Carneys in Studio City. I was surprised how much things have grown around this location. The Train car alone brought back so many great memories. Not a lot has changed, the food options are plentiful. We went for it during this trip, not sure when I will be back. We had an original Carney's hotdog with chili, onions and mustard, under the Red Eye menu we also had the Carneys hotdog with a sausage and chili, this was tied in with chili fries and Train wreck Fries, with grilled onions and thousand island dressing. I really enjoyed the chili, I love Tommy's chili but Carneys chili is just slightly better. The inside of the train car seem so small, they had many seating options inside and outdoors they have multiple seating areas. You will find the restrooms in the front train car.

Yelp
Always a good choice. On a hot Saturday with the breeze blowing, sitting outside with my New Yorker hotdog (sauerkraut, and mustard) and a chocolate shake. What could be finer? It's a bit busy because it's so popular. But well worth the wait. Recommend highly.

Yelp
The hot dog with the Hawaiian mango salsa dog was so good that I came back for seconds the very next day! Workers were nice and patient. But what gave me the ick in my experience was how dirty the patio area was both times (can be very hot inside) and because trash was all over it definitely attracts rodents sadly. I say if you want to eat here, take it to go! I would've gave it 4 stars but the rats in the bushes by the patio just didn't sit well with me, I hope management addresses the waste situation soon. This place has potential, but cleanliness is just as important as good food.

Yelp
What a neat, unique fast food place. I've driven by here so many times and today was the day to stop in. I had a polish sausage "New Yorker" style with sauerkraut and mustard and chili/cheese fries. I can't say I was that impressed with either of my choices. Maybe a burger would have been a better option? Not sure I'll be back but it was definitely a ln experience.

Yelp
Carneys turned me into a hot dog girlie. I was never a hot dog fan until I had one from Carneys, and now I'm hooked! They have a great chili dog (their signature Carney's dog), also recently tried their Red Baron and Chicagoan. I will say, don't get the Chicagoan dog if you're expecting it to be a true Chicago dog. It has elements but not the full experience, which I was disappointed in (totally my own fault though). Aside from that, Carneys is solid! They also have great burgers, sandwiches, salads, fries and drinks along with a number of other offerings on their menu I still need to try. Ambiance-wise, this is such a unique and fun experience. Definitely dine in to get the whole shebang. The restaurant is one big converted train car and so fun to eat at by yourself or with your crew! Parking is super easy in the lot.

Yelp
Wow have passed this place countless times maybe a thousand times! Always said I'm going but until today I did and was so worth it! The chili cheese fries so delicious! The double cheeseburger well cooked! The LA dog! The ambiance is just so cozy!

Yelp
Honestly, I love the burgers here! It's so darn delicious and the best chili cheese fries! If you're in the mood for hotdogs, they have great hotdogs but the burgers are awesome! Super friendly staff and the best train set up to eat in. Love the ambiance here cause you feel like you're on a train. lol.

Yelp
Love Carneys! We went there for lunch today - the location on Ventura Blvd in Studio City - and I tried the cheeseburger for the first time. Really good! Of course the burgers are cooked well done and have to be, but the burger on the fluffy bun, shredded lettuce, juicy tomato, crisp pickles, is really good! You can have options of onions, raw or grilled, relish, mustard, mayo, ketchup or 1000 Island Dressing. And you can opt for regular or with chili, I got the regular this time. I got plain French fries, small size to go with my burger. Husband got a Carney's hot dog with American cheese and chili fries. Carneys had lots of options for just about everyone, including salads! When we were there, the owner was having his lunch and he had a sandwich wrapped in lettuce and a really good looking salad! Service is great, food turnaround is a bit longer than most fast food, but worth just the few extra minutes. Really, you are not waiting long for your food, I've waited longer at In-N-Out. Of course love the old train car to sit in. The restaurant is always kept clean. So are the restrooms. If you have not been to Carneys, you got to go at least once! If not several times! Yelp
To me, in the LA area, there are only 3 Chili Dog spots that need to exist. The Original Tommy's ... Pink's Hotdogs ...... and Carneys. All three are great, all equal in taste and satisfies that chili dog craving, all delish, and all will give you the necessary heartburn a great Chili Dog gives you. I can't decide which one is my favorite. They are all different but the same as a "hit the spot" chili dog any time of day. Carneys, though, is unique. Why? It's in a vintage train car! The Sunset Blvd location is iconic (you'll see it in movies and shows), but the Studio City location is also cool and easier to get to if you are outside of Hollywood - and long time ago, they had a spot in my hometown of Glendale. The menu is not as 'diverse' as Pink's but they do give you enough options if you want something more: from salads, to burgers and wraps, and of course what I always get: The Carneys with Cheese: Chili, mustard, tomato, onions and I add: Cheese! They also have sausages. My wife usually has the Polish Carneys as she's not a big hot dog fan. Add some fries and it's a perfect chili dog meal. Eat it slow. Seriously. Enjoy every single bite. We usually share a chili cheese burger (just because it's hard not to). End it all with a Frozen Chocolate Dipped Banana! Oh and as a PSA - leave the celebrities alone. Let them eat their chili dogs in peace... yes, you just might see your favorite star.

Yelp
I like this little place. It is a fun place to eat if you enjoy the ambiance of the train life. This train car has delicious hot dogs and burgers (I prefer the burgers), fries, chili-cheese fries, sodas/teas/habanero lemonade (YUM), and the like. It sees a lot of kids in there so sometimes the place is a mess, but they do a great job of keeping it as clean as they can. I really enjoy spending time in here and know that you will too. Sheldon would be proud of you for eating here.

Yelp
I haven't been to this restaurant forever it's was yummy love the like animal style fires Love the cheeseburger was good choice

Yelp
If you asked me if I enjoyed this place, probably is the word I would choose still. The hot dogs we ordered, were admittedly very good but everything else fell flat. We ordered some chili cheese fries and while I'm no stranger to greasy chili, this one was swimming in grease. I did make an effort to try multiple times to make sure I wasn't crazy, but ultimately it was neither seasoned well nor was it very enjoyable texture wise, it was almost like eating slop. The cookie I ordered was seemingly underbaked and while soft was still less than satisfying. The ice cream sandwiches are literally just blue bunny ones, so I'm unsure why they even sell them. If you're here just to grab a hotdog, you'll probably enjoy it, otherwise I would temper your expectations accordingly. My hope is that maybe it was an off day, but I was really bummed that anything other than just a hot dog is asking a lot from here.

Yelp
My family began taking me here when I was young and we recently began coming back again, and again. It has become a cherished tradition to eat absolutely delicious food while being in a vibey retro train car atmosphere. We love it. Service is always super accommodating and there is tons of parking and space inside to eat very casually. Truly a respite.

Yelp
Being that my husband is in the film industry and between him growing up and working in SoCal, I find it hard to find places that he has never been... Well, let me say finding this place was perfect! I love that it's an actual train car!! Menu is on the wall in two places and there is a walk up window area to order. I believe it was the owner who took our order and pricing was a little over $5 and up, so for 3 dogs, 2 fries, a shake and soda we spent a little over $40. Dogs were sooo filling and good size, my chili dog! Omg! Perfect amount of seasoning, fresh shredded cheese and onion... greasy but that's expected and I did not mind at all... definitely worth a try. Seating inside (did get a little warm) and also outside, clean bathrooms in the back of the train and just as important... great customer service!!

Yelp
This was my second time coming here after many years. Carneys remains iconic due to its vintage train car seating and famous hot dogs / burgers. I came with my mom on a Monday afternoon for lunch and wow this place was packed! Though I have driven past here so many times since the last time in my life I was here, I could never have imagined how popular this place is! There is ample parking in the plaza parking where the traincar sits. They also offer stickers for sale and this seems like a fun place to take your kids to eat. Hamburger 5/5, my mom and I both got this. These were JUICY with both ketchup and thousand island sauce dripping out from the fresh ingredients. This was made right in front of us and felt incredibly fresh. Strawberry shake 3/5, this was a basic shake but it did come from a soda pump style machine and I didn't know when it had been made. I'm not certain if I would order this again.

Yelp
Crazy to say , grew up around these neighborhoods and this is the first time iv tried this ! Purposely came at non busy time so I can eat in peace LOL. But all honesty it was a good pick up , a train turned into a hamburger joint , pretty cool concept . Inside super clean! Cleaner than most big names fast food chain. Ordered a chili burger give it a 10/10. Now the train wreck fries not my things but it was good I'll do a 8/10 next time I'll just to a Chili Fries . Overall great experience, fast quick service . Can never go wrong with a chili burger and iced cold root beer !

Yelp
I've been eating Tommy's for two decades and everyone knows it's an institution as respectable as In-n-Out. Carneys chili is more delicious and the vegetables taste fresher in the chili cheeseburgers when compared to Tommy's. The Train Wreck Fries are also better than Animal Style Fries. The service was decent and the food was ready very quickly. Aside from delicious food, the establishment is located inside a Santa Fe Railroad car. The Santa Fe Railroad was one of the largest railroads servicing Southern California in addition to Union Pacific and Southern Pacific.
google avatar

Cindy S.

Yelp
I absolutely love Carney's! I use to come here as a kid, now as an adult I bring my husband and children. The fun part about this place is your dining inside a vintage Southern Pacific railroad coach car. Small outside patio available as an alternative. Fun nostalgic vibes. Menu is simple: Burger, Sandwiches, Hot-Dogs, Fries, Salads, Shakes... but you are here for the Chili! It's mild yet flavorful all-beef chili. Get anything with chili on it is my recommendation. -Parking available in front/side - a private lot. - Cash/Card accepted. -Wheelchair/Stroller accessible (side ramp-on the right side of the train).
google avatar

Yelp
A good and fun place for a burger or hot dog. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and I always get a kick out of the large drink labeled as "Wimpy" - go for the biggest drink they have! Why? Because you'll be shamed otherwise. The burgers are good but they kind of overdo it on the lettuce. (Iceberg, shaved and crispy) The fries are good and not salty at all, a pleasant surprise. The sweet potato fries are larger than the regular fries, very flavorful, and (different from the regular fries) are seasoned well. Over the last year or 2, I've been here for lunch and dinner and it's near-packed at those times, so know that the train might be full upon your arrival!
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
First time here and beyond expectation. We ordered the chili cheeseburger, chili cheese fries and the New Yorker dog, spicy style.. Too good!!. Quick and good service.. Food was amazing. Everything was good, fresh and done quick.. The setup is pretty chill, eating inside a train car was cool and different. Will be back.
google avatar

Sylvia C.

Yelp
This a must have for me whenever I visit LA! This time I struggled with my decision, but I decided to get my usual: chili cheese hotdog with onions and fries! It was good but not as good as I've had in the past. The fries tasted like they had been cooked in old grease, hence the 4 stars! Next time I think I'll try the Red Eye which is a polish sausage without cheese though. My cheese was not melted on my chili cheese dog and that's a pet-peeve of mine! . I'll be back because I love the atmosphere and the service! However, it wouldn't hurt you to change your oil more often!!

Yelp
On Veteran's Day my son was off school so I decided to bring him here for lunch. He hasn't been here before and was surprised to find this train restaurant here. I have been here many many years ago. We got here around 12 and there was a big line. I guess it's a holiday and everyone is here. My son and I enjoyed our time here it's a very cute restaurant with great ambiance. We chose to sit outside cause it was a beautiful weather. I ordered us 1/2 pound Angie's burgers. So delicious. Very big, I couldn't finish it. We also shared a chili fries and New Yorker hot dog. Everything was delicious. Not my typical choice for food but it's a nice treat once in a while. I'm not a fan of burgers but my son is. We both loved our burgers at Carneys. Great customer service and reasonable prices.

Yelp
Delicious Hawaiian dog! Mango, salsa, mustard... Really hit the spot for Sunday, afternoon lunch

Yelp
Always a good visit to this establishment. Food and service are both good and I recommend the place for both adults and kids.
google avatar

Yelp
My niece and nephew love this place! The dining area is always nice and clean. There is a good amount of space inside as well as outside. The service has always been amazing! They always go out of their way to check in on the kids and make sure that they are enjoying their meals. Food is what you would expect for burger and fries. Burger is a good size and fries are good but I'm not big on shoestring fries. Overall always a good experience. Bathrooms are ok, they could be a bit cleaner at times. But I get it, people also need to be responsible for themselves.

Yelp
Carney's is an LA institution. And while the valley location might not get as much recognition as the original West Hollywood one, it's just as iconic and just as great of an experience. (Plus it has much better parking if you ask me). It's rare to not be here when there is a long line. Trust me. It's worth the wait. The chili here is top notch and the hot dogs have such a great bite to them. You can tell they're using good ingredients. I've been coming here on & off since the early 2000s when I started going to college and every time I come back (now with my wife and kids) it's just a hit of pure nostalgia. That first taste of chili dog just brings me back. I love it. The employees are always so friendly and helpful despite always being on the move doing everything they can to help get orders in and out of the kitchen. They're especially great with kids. Always saying hello (& if they're with you while you order, they often give a little 'freebee' of a fresh French fry or two). I rarely stray from the chili dog, but my wife often gets the double cheeseburger and my sons get either a hamburger or chili free hot dog. They all gobble them up and with 3 picky boys, that's about as good of a review as I can give. Eating inside an old converted train car is also a fun time. Does it make the restaurant small & sometimes hard to navigate when there's a long line? Sure. Does that deter from the experience? Absolutely not. I think it only adds to it. So, if you're in the valley and you want a unique dining experience while also enjoying some iconic food (albiet not healthy in the slightest), look no further than Carney's. You'll have a great time. I promise.
google avatar

Justin L.

Yelp
I've taken my kids here probably 20 times now. They keep wanting more, it's amazing! The burgers and the sweet potato fries are their favorite - and always the vanilla milkshake.

Yelp
We've been craving Carneys for a while and decided to give them a visit thos past Friday. We both got the Carney dog and French fries, I got the train wreck fries and boy oh boy, did they satisfy our hot dog craving! The snap when you bite into that dog, the chili, the onions and the fresh tomatoes on top. The snap is the main thing for me, if it doesn't snap, it's not a perfect hot dog. My husband even went back and ordered himself a second one. There was also a really nice gentleman, Howard that works there and he was just super attentive and friendly. We got to chatting with him for a bit and we shared our love for LA and the iconic places to eat at and how somenof them are closing or being bought out. Carneys is definitely a staple in LA and I hope they continue to serve up their comfort, delicious hamburgers and hot dogs for another 100 years. The restaurant wasn't that busy for a Friday night and the place was clean, the restrooms were well tended to and their music Playlist set the vibe.

Yelp
Carneys is one of my favorite places as of yesterday. I first went to the original Carneys on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood over 40 years ago. It has only gotten better as time goes on. The first thing that comes to mind is the fact that the burger is made from prime beef. The size and value along with sweet potato fries are just so delicious and not too be missed. I personally would put them on par with Pinks. The dogs have the snap you'd expect from a perfect dog. The beef and again size of the burgers are just about as . good as it gets. I highly recommend Carneys. The ambiance is very cool with the train cars and overall vibe. The service is really good. Employees are very friendly. You just can't be disappointed. If it's dogs and burgers then this is the perfect place for you.

Yelp
This Jersey gal has always loved a good hot dog and I had to travel to Studio City to find this gem. Carney's is a historic eatery located in a vintage train car on Ventura Blvd. The layout of the property is really cool. Yellow train cars make up the structure. Once inside, you read the menu on the wall of their offerings. I was torn between the New Yorker (Kraut & brown or yellow mustard) and the Carney (Chili, brown or yellow mustard, onions, tomato & chesses). I opted for the Carney, no cheese or tomato and a large Dr Pepper. There was a line but it moved relatively fast. The counter service was friendly with a sense of humor. It's organized chaos behind the counter and it works. I received my food and ate it there. They have outside sitting as well but I wanted to experience the train car. The first bite was a flavor explosion of chili, dog, onions and mustard. So delicious!!!! Dog had the perfect snap I love. Will be returning in the future.

Yelp
Everything went well. Good food, reasonable service, and different ambience compared to other restaurants in the area.

Yelp
The food was incredible. The dogs are flavorful and have a wonderful snap to them. My kids are pretty picky, but they loved their hamburgers, and the fries were fresh from the fryer. It's such a simple meal but the flavor blew us away and didn't make us feel too full or gross afterward. Everything was balanced and delicious! All the ingredients were fresh. The inside of the cab is so clean, which is crazy considering how old it is. You can tell the staff / owners really care about this place and their customers because of how well kept it is and how affordable the menu is! I plan to return soon. How could you not?!
google avatar

Yelp
Who doesn't like eating in an old train? If you have kids, it's a fun casual place to walk around with the youngsters. Nice tables to eat inside and out. Such a classic in the area. I believe the place has been around for like 50+ years. Burgers. Hot dogs and shakes, simple menu. the food in my opinion is ok. Nothing too spectacular but the chili is what gets me every time. Yum! Chili. Cheese and onions on a hot dog. Can't beat it for a lunch time meal. I wish they could modernize it a little, but I guess the age of the place adds to its charm.
google avatar

Ryan H.

Yelp
This place is my all time comfort food spot, with the best chili fries and chili dog in LA - much better than Pinks and their chili beats Tommy's, though that's more subjective neck and neck. It's also the type of spot that makes your order exactly how you want it so if it isn't the best hot dog you've had, it's because you didn't order it right! I get my chili dog split and grilled, grilled bun, no tomato, grilled onions and it's a dose of cheat day meal perfection. Carney's has an above average sized menu for a Burger, hot dog, and fries spot with wraps and chicken salads I frankly can't speak on because I always come for my old favorites. Oh and can't beat the old train car ambiance. Carney's is an LA institution and beloved locals spot. I've been going here over 30 years and it will be my greasy chili, tasty food about monthly treat to myself till I die. As a true born and breed Los Angeleno, if I had to decide between keeping In-N-Out or keeping Carneys and only one could remain, it would be sad but hands down easy decision... Carney's.

Yelp
This place is always a great experience. The Hawaiian Dog (photo) has easily become my favorite. Spicy Polish dog with a special mustard and LOADED with the absolute freshest mango salsa. It is THE BOMB!!! The women behind the counter can get a tad grouchy, but it's hot, and they are working the grill at breakneck speed to keep up with the lunch rush. I think we can forgive ... it's hard work. Despite the crowds, they keep the place clean and the food is always fresh. It's always worth the wait.

Yelp
We had a great experience here... we were randomly craving hot dogs and searched online and found this. The restaurant is an old train which was so cool. The people working were all so nice and friendly. This is a classic late night bite - hot dogs, burgers and fries. All very tasty. We had the chili and cheese class dog, a New York dog and a Hawaiian dog. They were so fresh and the hot dog itself was delicious! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Awesome idea of having a restaurant inside a train cart. It definitely is what attracts people to come. Ordered a red eye the carneys way and it wasn't too bad. The chili could use some more flavor and the bun could have been toasted to prevent it from being soggy. Would not come back for the dogs but the burgers are for-sure the way to go. 4 stars if the price wasn't so high!

Yelp
Chili burger, lemonade, chili fries and hotdogs with ketchup, relish and mustard were all delicious! I didn't choose any of these. I asked Giovanni to choose his favorites and surprise me! He was do kind too!

Yelp
1-8-25 I'm so grateful for Carney's! It's like a journey back in time, vintage train car seating and mouth-watering burgers and hot dogs! Their staff is always so warm and welcoming, making me feel like I'm part of something special every time I visit! I definitely recommend them, especially if you have that Saturday morning downtime with your kids!!

Yelp
I've grown up going bowling and then walking to Carneys after. The food is fresh and has pretty good prices. The food is made very fast and the staff is very nice. The restaurant is a train so it is a bit snug inside. You should not sit inside the restaurant if you are claustrophobic. They do have outdoor seating but there is usually some trash on some of the tables. I would recommend this restaurant to you.

Yelp
Yum! 1st time here I couldn't decide on what to get so I got a dbl cheeseburger, small chili cheese fries, train wreck fries, and a hot dog :-p hubby got the Chicagoan hot dog (we split the fries). Wow! I'm a lil piggy! lol I really enjoyed everything I ate! The hot dog (I got plain) was one of the best hot dogs I've ever had! Such great flavor and snap and it was piping hot (which I lie and appreciate). I tried the hot dog with ketchup and then with a lil chili from the fries and both were great! Would absolutely get this again! The cheeseburger was yummy! Glad I got a double instead of a single. Got it with let, tom, grilled onions, mayo and ketchup. Really good! Also put a little chili on the burger and wow! I will get that next time. The chili cheese fries were delicious! Yummy!!! Would definitely get these again too! Train wreck fries were good too but the chili cheese I liked more. Don't know what took me so long to eat here but better late than never! I will be back for sure....just not too soon! This is a meal that is a 3 or so times a year type thing (for me). Not the healthiest but so very good! Line was long but moved pretty good! Service was nice. Train was fun to eat in. Place was clean.

Yelp
Great tasting food on an actual train. Able to buy some chili cheese burgers, hot dogs, and fries. They make shakes as well. I love coming here, especially bring family members who are visiting. Overall a great experience especially for kids. I have always received great customer service from the staff and my order is always correct. This is the reason why I continue on coming back.

Yelp
It's always a pleasure to eat here when in LA. Good food, friendly service, fun and clean environment. Cant go wrong with burgers and hot dogs, among their other choices. Their beef patties are on the thinner side but still flavorful (get a double!). When dining in, I find it most appealing to get a table away from the ordering counter/kitchen. If it starts to get busy, the line builds around those tables, making the meal seem crowded and uncomfortable. The parking lot can get busy but offers enough space for everyone. Family friendly, budget friendly, life friendly.

Yelp
TLDR; Come for the aesthetics, not the food. The only good thing about this place is the train. The food was disgusting. We ordered the turkey burger, turkey hot dog, tuna melt, and a regular hamburger. The turkey burger was whiter than Casper. The fries had no salt. Everything was, well, frozen.
