Tucked in a humble strip mall, Cannelle Patisserie serves up exquisite French pastries and cakes that have locals lining up for a taste of perfection.
"Cannelle’s is located in an unassuming strip mall next to a nail salon and a drugstore that just happens to serve top notch French pastries and desserts. The chef partners, Jean-Claude Perennou and Gnanasampanthan Sabaratnam met while working at the Waldorf Astoria. Their onsite kitchen means that fresh-baked goodness is being brought out on the regular. There’s table seating, and the parade of customers is well worth watching for its amazing diversity. The raspberry almond croissant is formidable, and you won’t find fault with the napoleons, gateaux Breton, cheesecakes, or cherry-loaded Black Forest cakes, either.
