Brutos - Review - 11th Arr. - Paris - The Infatuation

"This sort of Brazilian steakhouse is small, charming, and equally great for a date or a group hang with anyone whose idea of a good time revolves around red meat and natural wine. Let the size of your party dictate whether you get the single order of steak frites with chimichurri or the côte de boeuf, also with chimichurri, for two, and throw something in with vegetables for good measure. Sure, maybe that should be a dish like pollock with green beans and peppers, but the deep fried ravioli with confit tomatoes count, too. After your meal, grab a cocktail at Bar Principal next door." - Tiffany Yannetta

Brutos is super fun. Actually a fun way to spend a sunday is to do a food crawl starting at Brutos and hitting Clamato, Septime la cave, and Clown Bar (this last 1 is super popular but IMO it’s a bit overhyped).

Sensational place for dinner. For the price, doubt you’ll find a more delicious meal paired with a spectacular wine selection at multiple price points. The service is excellent — even for a non-French/English speaker like myself; great job by the staff at every step of the meal! We got the steak and fish for mains — both cooked to perfection. If they have truffle fries, get them!

This is our favorite restaurant during our stay in Paris. Everything we ordered was amazing! For starters, we had the langoustines and rabbit terrine—both well flavored and delicious. As for our main course we had the pork loin and 45 day dry-aged ribeye. The meats were so juicy, tender, and well seasoned. We can’t stop thinking about that steak! The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely ensured we had a good experience. We highly recommend this restaurant!

Brutos was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The restaurant itself is stylish and inviting, with a great vibe both inside and out. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our meal. We were disappointed to learn that their “world-famous” roast chicken is only served on Sundays — something that would be helpful to make clearer. That aside, we shared a ribeye with a bottle of rosé wine, and it was delicious: fresh, hot, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The desserts were truly outstanding — we haven’t stopped thinking about them since! The overall experience was wonderful, but a couple of small critiques: the restaurant is located on a very lively road, so sitting outside can be quite noisy with children playing and nearby bar chatter (worth noting if you’re seeking something more intimate). Also, when I asked for ketchup with my steak and fries, the waiter said they don’t serve it as it offends their chef. While I found that stance a bit unnecessary — especially for a restaurant that serves meat and fries — I will say the gravy that came with the ribeye was excellent, and I didn’t miss the ketchup in the end. Still, when spending good money, I believe guests should be free to enjoy their food the way they prefer. Overall, a genuinely enjoyable dining experience that I would definitely recommend and happily return to.

Everything at Brutos was simply amazing! The dishes were full of flavor, the service was spot-on, and the whole atmosphere was warm and inviting. Huge compliments to the chefs. The attention to detail was clear in every bite. Worth stopping by if you’re in the area!

Great food, and great service. All dishes ordered were delicious! Service was commendable. There was an issue with one of our dishes and our server and chef were very apologetic replacing it and removing the charge as well as shaving black truffle on top! The restaurant has a really cosy atmosphere as well.

Excellent dinner for 6 for my birthday. Friendly staff, amazing wine and most importantly- unique, high quality plates at what I feel was a reasonable price.

A Sunday lunch classic in France is roast chicken. I recommend to have this experience once at BRUTOS any day or night of the week where meat and vegetables meet the real fire. We had perfectly cooked asparagus with perfectly balanced lamb kebab and spicy yogurt sauce that balanced it perfectly. Then the roast chicken and french fries completed the show, super well cooked and delicious. We finished with chocolate profiterole that had a great hand-made pastry with very good quality ice cream and chocolate. The attention to service and details were really perfect, worth another lunch or dinner very soon. Reservation is required.

This is the place - affordable and delicious. 10/10 experience The atmosphere was second to none with Latin bossa style music playing Street eating next to a quiet park in the summer is something special (the inside is also stunning if you’re not into outdoor eating) The food was by far the best food I ate on my 5 day trip of exploring Paris eateries! The staff were warm and friendly and attentive & they were happy to recommend wine pairings with different courses which complimented the food fantastically If you come to Paris and you want a different food experience to traditional French cuisine with real flavour this is definitely the place to try As price point goes it’s within reach of most tourists especially those who are willing to pay for the ridiculously priced food in the main areas of the city (near monuments) This is a real Parisian experience.
