B.O.G. Hotel - 5 Estrellas de Lujo

Nice facilities and an excellent spa, but the service needs improvement. The room structure and spa are great and definitely the highlight of the hotel. However, the service experience was inconsistent throughout my stay. When I arrived at 4 a.m., I was initially given the wrong room category and had to return to reception with my reservation to be moved to the correct room. Laundry instructions were ignored and I had to request twice for my clothes to be folded as indicated. The laundry bag was also never replaced after use. Breakfast service on Friday morning was disorganized, even though the restaurant was almost empty. I had to ask several times just to get a plate, coffee, and to order an omelet. At checkout I requested the receipt for my stay and was told it would be sent within 30 minutes due to a system issue, but it never arrived in that time frame and I am still waiting. Overall, the hotel has great potential thanks to its facilities locationand spa, but the operational service needs improvement.

B.O.G. Hotel is amazing. Great staff and great service. We had a cancelled domestic flight and they helped us right away, it was very helpful. Also, the drinks are amazing! Mr. Gustavo makes the best drinks! The espresso martini is the best one we’ve ever tried, and the mocktail that Gustavo makes is also delicious! Highly recommend staying at this hotel!

The room had a strange odor and was very small. It was clean and the smell went away after a while. There is a mini fridge and basic things you can buy in the room (snacks, toothbrush ect.). The girls at réception were very nice. One even spoke a bit English. Breakfast was good.

The room, its amenities (e.g. Turkish bath, massage, etc) and, specially, the breakfast are to die for. At breakfast time, Luisa and her coworkers are constantly checking every table making sure everybody's needs are satisfied. Definitively, this is the hotel I'll stay at when I return to Bogotá.

Andrea provided exceptional service during our dinner at the hotel. From the moment we were seated, she was warm, attentive, and professional. She made sure everything was perfect, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. Her positive attitude and genuine care truly enhanced our dining experience. Andrea is a great asset to the hotel, and we greatly appreciated her excellent service. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived the experiences was remarkable. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Check-in was smooth. The food is exquisite and the drinks at the bar to die for. Gustavo the bartender made us a drink called “Gulupa” I highly recommend it. I’m not a gin drinker but this drink was refreshing and delicious. Five stars for Gustavo and the team at the B.O.G. Read Before Booking When we arrived, we were informed that we would have to pay for a “hotel insurance” upon check-out. We were also given a brochure outlining the cost of using hotel facilities, which required an additional fee. None of this was presented as optional — it was communicated as if these charges were mandatory. We did not agree to any of it and did not use those services. Nevertheless, they attempted to charge us simply because we had received the brochure and had supposedly “accessed” the information. This felt completely unfair and unreasonable. When I asked the front desk agent to call the manager so we could discuss the charge, she warned me to “be careful with my time” and implied that I might miss my flight if we continued the conversation. It felt like an attempt to pressure us into paying by suggesting they would delay the process and cause us to miss our flight. I calmly explained that we had scheduled our taxi well in advance precisely to avoid any time issues, so we were not concerned about being late. She eventually removed the charge and resolved the issue.

Had a great stay at BOG Hotel. The staff were consistently attentive and professional, and the hotel itself feels calm, modern, and well run. A special mention to Gustavo, who was a pleasure to deal with throughout. Would happily stay again.
