Berrada Restaurant in the old town of Fes is an absolute gem. The food is amazing — real traditional Moroccan home cooking, full of flavor and heart. There’s no menu here — instead, you’re invited to taste before you order, which makes the experience so unique and personal. Every dish feels freshly prepared with care. The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming — they make you feel like a guest in their home rather than a customer. A small but excellent family restaurant in Fez, with great and tasty food and owner family have great hospitality. Lovely environment with great ambiance. Absolutely recommend to everyone.

It's an absolutely OK place for the Medina but I'm not sure it's worth all the 5 star reviews. My wife's chicken tagine was very good and my mince kebabs were OK. The staff were very nice too. The interior gets very smoky from the barbecue. But it simply isn't more than a 65% IMHO

Delicious food, beautifully decorated interior (upstairs and downstairs), very friendly and helpful wait staff. They let you have a taste of each of the 4 (or 5?) tajines they make so you can choose which to order. In the medina, but quiet and relaxing once you enter. If you're in Fes, go now. Otherwise, start planning your trip to Fes!

You have to try the food here! First of all, you walk in here and the small restaurant is absolutely beautifully decorated. They bring out five different dishes for you to taste and then you choose which one you want to eat. Then they bring you out four different appetizers and you can have as much as you want. And they bring you a big basket of bread. Every single thing we ate here was absolutely delicious! Our best meal in Morocco so far for sure!! And I almost forgot about the service. It's a family restaurant, and the whole family's here. The son speaks perfect English and waits on you with a huge smile and appreciation and takes care of your every need. This place is fantastic!!

My favorite meal in Fes by far. The owners are so sweet, and truly make you feel welcome. They let you sample all the food they have that day so you know exactly what you're getting when you order. They bring tea and several salads for the table included in your meal. Heard the owners tell the table next to us (who eventually decided that they only wanted tea) that they didnt need to pay because he wanted them to feel welcome. He even told my vegan friend that she didn't need to pay for her meal. We did anyway bc we felt so welcomed by this family.

Reviews don't lie! This is a great restaurant. I recommend it if you go to Fes.
