This vibrant food hall in Crown Heights, inspired by Smorgasburg, offers a rotating lineup of vendors serving up everything from brisket to gourmet pizza in a spacious, industrial setting perfect for both families and chill hangouts.
"This cavernous beer hall in Crown Heights from the team behind Brooklyn Flea (a weekend flea market that travels to different locations in the borough) opened in 2014 and has quickly become a popular spot. The aesthetic is warehouse Brooklyn: concrete floors, high ceilings, exposed ductwork, and a long bar running the length of the space. The wide selection of beers on tap is one draw, as is the choice of three different food vendors: Landhaus for burgers, Mighty Quinn's for barbecue, and Lumpia Shack for Filipino-inspired snacks and bowls."
"Berg’n, the beloved Brooklyn food hall and event space from the team behind Smorgasburg, has permanently closed its doors." - Luke Fortney
"This Crown Heights spot with a revolving quartet of food options and full bar will be showing the game on its 20-foot screen. Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, Tripoli Pizza, and Jianbing will all offer food specials, and the bar will offer an all day happy hour in addition to team-themed boilermakers and big game buckets of beer." - Alexandra Ilyashov, Eater Staff, Melissa Kravitz Hoeffner
"Wild World will be offering tastings of over 200 organic wines, farmhouse beers, and other drinks and foods fermented with wild yeast and bacteria on October 28. It goes down at the Berg’n beer hall 899 Bergen Street in Crown Heights from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; tickets available here." - Carla Vianna
"We don’t know if it’s an age thing or a sugar thing, but we do know that kids don’t like to sit still. That’s why it’s a good move to bring them to places like Berg’n, a Prospect Heights beer garden the size of an airplane hangar. During the day, there tend to be strollers lining the walls and kids’ birthday parties at the big communal tables, which are packed with food from vendors like Mighty Quinn’s. Hang out inside or at a table in the outdoor courtyard until 9pm, when it becomes 21+." - Bryan Kim, Matt Tervooren
