"As one of Spain’s most renowned figures and a globally celebrated architect, a trip to Barcelona is not complete until you see some of Gaudí’s incredible work in person. Admittedly, touring Gaudí’s famed church, Sagrada Familia, can feel daunting—if you’re only in town for a few days, the idea of spending hours in a queue isn’t super appealing. (That said, there is good reason for the long line.) You can also just do a stroll-by—the exterior is impressive despite ongoing construction. And there are other worthy Gaudí creations to see throughout the city, like: Palau Güell (an early commissioned home palace in El Raval), Casa Battló (the remarkably mystical house on Passeig de Gràcia), Casa Milà (commonly referred to as La Pedrera, a near optical illusion of curved stone), and Park Güell (Gaudí’s enchantingly imagined landscape). Our tour was of the Gothic Quarter. Our guide was very informative and friendly. You get way more information from these walking tours than sitting on a tour bus. Our kids 12 & 15 also found the tour enjoyable. If we had more time we would have liked to to do the Gaudi tour as well. Barcelona has so much to explore, we would definitely recommend!

What an amazing tour guide! Noah was fantastic at keeping us engaged with the history. Not easy when there are young teens! He had a real passion for the city of Barcelona, and was very knowledgeable when asked questions by the group. I believe that we would have missed the many gems of Gaudi, had we not gone on such a tour. Not too long and not too short. Also, you couldn’t get more fair than paying your guide what you felt it was worth!

The tour was amazing! Noah took his time to chat with everyone and kept us engaged and comfortable. He was so knowledgeable, we learned so much about the history of Barcelona. He gave us directions to places, and a list of recommendations for things to do and spots to eat. Super practical tips :) I highly recommend Runnerbean!

Noah was an Excellent English speaking tour guide for the GAUDI architecture walking tour that I took. You should take this tour for its excellent content and ease in getting around under direction of the knowledgeable guide. I went back to Quell Palau after the tour as suggested by the guide. There was no line and helpful staff an audio guide tour included with your ticket and you can go to the rooftop of the building.

I had such a great time today on the tour through the Gothic Quarter with Julie. The sights were amazing but I also learnt a lot of Catalan history and how the city developed. I'm so happy I signed up for the tour.

Elena is very knowledgeable about the full history of the Spanish Inquisition and made the tour enjoyable with her fun and quirky personality. Loved all of her props that she brought along that kept this disturbing part of history light and breezy. (Plus she quoted from my favorite book of all time). Evening walk was moonlight magical and weirdly romantic given the dark topics.
