As Janelas Verdes/Riverview, a Lisbon Heritage Collection

My friend and I had an absolutely wonderful three night stay. Everything in the hotel was so carefully thought out. The attention to detail was incredible. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious, even including a bottle of champagne to top up your orange juice!|The hotel felt so personal, almost as though you were staying in someone’s home. The lounge areas and the library were beautiful. We loved the honesty bar and tea and coffee facilities that were always available. The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. The position of the hotel was excellent. Just far enough away to feel peaceful but close enough to walk or to use the excellent public transport. We would totally recommend and stay again. |Thank you so much.

The As Janelas Verdes Inn hotel in Lisbon is a truly excellent hotel. Located on a beautiful street near the centre of Lisbon, it is actually quite a quiet hotel. My room was spacious, very clean and very tastefully appointed in terms of furniture. The common areas of the hotel are impeccably furnished, and there is a lovely garden in the rear of the hotel where breakfast is served during warm weather. The staff was highly professional but warm. One of the hotel staff provided me with excellent and needed assistance in booking a railway ticket.

My wife and I recently spent several days at this hotel. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. They are the hotel's best feature. The hotel has the air of an early 20th century British home complete with lots of dark wood paneling and period furniture. While it has a veneer of elegance, it is quite dark and dated. The elevator is very small and cramped for travelers with suitcases. The bedroom was adequate in size but the carpet seemed musty and worn. The bathroom was well supplied but the faucets were loose and the shower was on the side of the bathtub. The bathtub was very narrow and as you had to stand sideways, it was awkward to shower. In summary, this hotel is pleasant but long overdue for renovation and modernization.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, from the moment we arrived we were greeted so warmly, the staff are super friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.|The room was comfortable and had everything we needed and more.|The amenities are amazing with a lovely balcony/library. The breakfast covered all tastes and a good start to the day.||The position of the hotel was good for walking to town,close to bus/trains and of course the staff will order you a taxi if required.

This is a charming boutique hotel near the National Art Museum. We had a nice view of the river from our room. Even though the hotel has been renovated, it still retains its classic Portuguese style. The breakfast was very nice and all the staff were excellent. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. I certainly would recommend this hotel.

Lovely hotel a few minutes walk from cafes, restaurants and the sights of Lisbon. Bus stop outside the hotel. Easy walk to trams & trains. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Delicious buffet breakfast served in a green oasis garden. Cool and shady even in 34 degrees. Roof terrace has stunning views and a great place to sit in the evening. We will be back. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for our anniversary, and the location was ideal – just outside the busy area, about a 20-minute walk into town. The hotel itself felt more like a manor house than a typical hotel, which gave it a more homely and charming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, though each morning we noticed the smell of cigarettes, possibly drifting in from outside.

Beautiful hotel in Lisbon... What a romantic vibe❤️ Rooms are very clean with all essentials expected. Beds are very comfortable, AC set up to the proper level. Garden when breakfast is served is just amazing, calm environment. Library upstairs with honest bar is such an addition, trust given to the guests says everything about the hotel level. Service is very kind and supportive. The only minus is the car park that needs to be booked in advance and paid for which I haven't read when booked through revolut. Truly recommend!!!
