"For those who treasure off-piste terrain and lighter-than-air powder, heli-skiing is the ultimate adventure. The once-in-a-lifetime sport allows skiers and snowboarders to fly above the Alps and drop onto untouched slopes before snaking down pristine mountainside. Austria boasts two of the best heli-skiing areas, both of which sit in the Arlberg region. Mehlsack (the Flour Sack) draws experienced skiers with the promise of deep powder, while Schneeta (Snow Valley) is geared more toward intermediates with lengthy runs and granular snow."

Lovely ski resort with very nice little typical villages like Lech or Zürs. Considered as one of the bigger ski resort in Austria, it is quite disappointing to close almost 70% of the ski lifts when the wind is blowing and charging 100% full price! The ski resort does not apply high season / low season pricing making you pay for completely different ski experience. The worst is the commuting between villages, be ready to pay 5.80€ per bus ride from St Anton to Lech for a 20min ride. Of course this is NOT included in your ski pass! What a joke! 100% of the price charged, no possibilities of transferring between villages, and on top they charge you for the bus! It’s simply called a tourists cash machine!
