Antica Residenza Cicogna

My wife and I stayed 3 incredible nights at Antica Residenza Cicogna and wished we could have stayed longer. I knew through the emails and contact with owner Elisa before we came that this would be a great place to stay. She is so kind and thoughtful, responsive in every way. Everything about her place was special. Elisa is such a great hostess! Her attention to detail is clear in how beautiful her bread and breakfast is ran. The breakfast was amazing, cappuccino every morning was terrific. The Liberty Room we stayed in was beautiful as was her whole place. I'm sure any room you were in would be great. The staff she has are a pleasure and so kind. Hopefully will be able to return to beautiful Siena in the near future and without a doubt we would stay in her Bed and Breakfast.

We stayed at Antica Residenza Cicogna for 6 nights and could not have been happier. Elisa and her co-worker of many years are as kind, helpful and welcoming as you could hope for. The room was super beautiful as was the entire place, so thoughtfully put together to ensure the comfort of every guest. Sitting areas dotted throughout, biscotti and tea available 24/7. The breakfast offered everything you could want and was delicious. The place is central to everything but away from the heaviest traffic. All in all, an exceptional experience and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Siena! Grazie grazie Grazie!

Elisa is a fantastic host and helped us to make a call to car rental to help resolve a rental issue. This is truly a gracious and lovely property that has been in the family for 2 centuries. Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of choices. The rooms are elegant with frescoes on the ceiling. Definitely recommend and will return!

A lovely room, breakfast and location! The owner was very helpful and kind in getting us situated and getting a taxi when it was time to go. The restoration of this historic building is very nicely done. The lounge area is a pleasant place to have a cup of tea and biscotti. I highly recommend!

Beautiful B&B in historical building. Delicious breakfast. Central location. Comfortable beds. Strong hot showers and strong air conditioning if those matter to you. Elisa and Llaria went out of their way to be helpful. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Friendly hosts, great location, and clean room. We had rented a car from Hertz and dropped it off at the Siena location and took a taxi from there to the hotel - took maybe 10 minutes. The hotel is located just a few minute walk from the Piazza, on a more quiet street, which was nice. We wanted to make sure to arrive when they were open (they closed at 1pm) as we didn't want to have to worry about the instructions to get in otherwise. Elisa, one of the owners, greeted us and took us to our room. We later met Ilaria, the other owner. There is no elevator, so just something to be aware of. Breakfast was typical of what we had experience in other hotels, and this was fine for us. Espresso, yogurt, baked goods, etc. We stayed just 2 nights, which was about right for us. One thing that I really appreciated was the sheet of paper that gave us some recommendations for restaurants! Made it much easier for us.

Delightful place to stay in heart of Siena. We were cheerfully greeting and shown to our room early, Staff gave us a map and list of recommended restaurants nearby, which we took advantage of. The hotel is steps from what you want to explore in Siena and rooms very comfortable and clean. Breakfast wonderful selection and friendly staff to answer questions.

I had the pleasure to stay here with my wife while attending a wedding in Siena. It is a beautiful property with very comfortable and clean bedrooms and in an excellent location. Would highly recommend.
