Antica Residenza Cicogna

One of the most characteristic and beautiful hotels I have come across in Italy! I had a wonderful stay and can't wait for the opportunity to return. The location is perfect - 5 minute walking from all the major sites and breakfast was delicious. The rooms are covered in frescoes and it really feels like the perfect Tuscan dream escape. This is THE place to stay in Siena.

We stayed at Antica Residenza Cicogna for 6 nights and could not have been happier. Elisa and her co-worker of many years are as kind, helpful and welcoming as you could hope for. The room was super beautiful as was the entire place, so thoughtfully put together to ensure the comfort of every guest. Sitting areas dotted throughout, biscotti and tea available 24/7. The breakfast offered everything you could want and was delicious. The place is central to everything but away from the heaviest traffic. All in all, an exceptional experience and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Siena! Grazie grazie Grazie!

Elisa is a fantastic host and helped us to make a call to car rental to help resolve a rental issue. This is truly a gracious and lovely property that has been in the family for 2 centuries. Breakfast was plentiful and had lots of choices. The rooms are elegant with frescoes on the ceiling. Definitely recommend and will return!

I loved this hotel so much, from the beautiful, frescoed rooms to the perfect positioning close to all the sites. Most importantly, the kind staff went the extra mile to make our stay perfect. Never a “no” or an annoying attitude—only smiles and helpful information.

A lovely room, breakfast and location! The owner was very helpful and kind in getting us situated and getting a taxi when it was time to go. The restoration of this historic building is very nicely done. The lounge area is a pleasant place to have a cup of tea and biscotti. I highly recommend!

Beautiful B&B in historical building. Delicious breakfast. Central location. Comfortable beds. Strong hot showers and strong air conditioning if those matter to you. Elisa and Llaria went out of their way to be helpful. Excellent stay. Highly recommended.

We give 5 stars because the experience lived up to all the great things we read about this B&B. The location is perfect for getting around Siena. Multiple Fantastic eateries within 1/2 mile radius. The decor in the B&B is splendid. The host and staff are beyond kind. Love the breakfast lounge food and experience. We would not hesitate to stay here again and we highly recommend this place.

This is a very beautifully restored B&B located in the center of Siena, with beautiful ceiling frescoes and antiques throughout. The staff is warm and always helpful. Our room very large, clean and comfortable. While the outside was busy & bustling during the day, it was quiet at night. Air conditioning was available, but not needed during our stay. Breakfast offered a wonderful selection of baked goods, cured meats and cheese, yogurt and coffee. All very delicious. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to return someday.
