I ordered the Premium Hamburger Omelette Rice made with wagyu for 3000 yen. The non-premium version is 2000 yen. I love eggs, and although the omelette was creamy and runny, the portion felt small and the flavour was a bit underwhelming. The rice and the soft beef patty were lukewarm and really needed the sauce. I tried both the demi glace and the black curry. They were fine but not very memorable, and I preferred the demi glace. I was also glad there were no onions.
The corn potage I added for 200 yen ended up being my favourite part. It was silky and creamy, naturally sweet from the corn, and served in a cute acorn cup. The side salad was light and fresh. I also enjoyed watching them make the eggs in the open kitchen.
Overall, it was on the pricier side, and I didn’t fully understand the hype, but it was still a solid meal. I arrived right before opening and was first in line, so there was no wait. The location was easy to spot, and they were able to communicate in English. One main dish per person is required, except for kids, and while I’m glad I tried it, I’m not in a hurry to return.
