Agrikol has a different atmosphere to your typical above average restaurant. The inside felt tight on space and seating, the outside, however, was more open and spaced out. Olivia, our server, was a sweetheart! She explained everything in English since we were clueless and it was our first time there! Her recommendations for the appetizers were delicious! Our main dish was a fried red snapper, it tasted great but wasn't crunchy like expected. Their cocktails were mostly strong but good! Expect a large bill for sure. Overall it is worth a shot!

We had a great night with amazing food at Agrikol. We did not had a table reservation, so we were seated at the upstairs bar. It was still a nice experience, seeing the busy restaurant from above. It has good loud music, you still can have a conversation. Food was delicious, amazing vegetarian pumpkin dish 😍 go there, you will not regret it.. but make a reservation!

Interesting place and vibe. It’s a little tight in terms of space and on their menu is on pricier side. I wouldn’t say $$ but more like $$$. We ordered a few dishes to share including the avocado salad, oxtail, jerk chicken and drinks. Highly recommend the jerk chicken!

The food and drinks are so delicious / from the oxtail to the Mac and cheese. The portions may be small but everything is made in small batches and the quality is very high! The drinks are strong so take it slow with them. And the vibe, decor and people are wonderful- there’s such a beautiful tribute in the art and music to Haiti.

The ambiance and decor were beautiful. Service was promp and uber friendly. We had rum cocktails with our dinner- the "Mant". Would recommend it as it was really light, refreshing and so tasty. We had griau (sorry if it is misspelled) and oxtails based on our waitress' recommendation and they did not disappoint. So delicious.

Superb. The restaurant is a cozy lil place(ie: its tiny) but our server was a sassy gem. For one,hebcut our order down as he felt we ordered too much. At first i was sliiighlty annoyed st this but as the food came and iur bellies filled,we relaized he was right. The Snapper is delicousness as was the tostones mac and cheese and the small fritters. The cocktails were divine as well !

Agrikol was my boyfriend and I’s last dinner in Montreal! It seemed like every millennial on social media recommended this restaurant so we went lol. Came here on a Saturday night around opening time and was seated at the bar right away (there was a long line shortly after us and people started to leave). Got our menus in French but luckily our waiter was nice and offered to translate in English. Drinks were good but very strong, my boyfriend couldn’t finish his drink lol. Nonetheless, the more important thing was the food. For starters: we got the Accras, which were a little too salty for our liking but nice and Mac and cheese which was surprisedly really good..for mains we got the oxtail and seafood mix (lambis). 🤤🤤🤤 oxtail was amazing fell off the bone and the seafood (scallop and squid mix I believe) mix was delicious with the sauce! Each dish had fried plantains and rice.. not going to lie this place is expensive for the portions you get (probably spoiled by cheap eats here in Toronto for similar type of food ). Bill ended up being basically $100.

Our friends recommended this place. They've officially earned my undying trust. Holy cow. Everything we had was tremendous. The service was so friendly, helpful, and attentive. Music great. Art great. atmoaphere great. The huge rum cocktail for two we had was phenomenal. Every single dish was a unique and scrumptious delight. I think the ceviche was our favourite? It was all A+. Of everywhere we tried in Montreal, Agrikol is a guaranteed return, every single time.
