During my visit, I spotted those sourdough loaves on display and even saw the baker skillfully crafting them at the back. They looked utterly delicious, but alas, I simply didn’t have enough room in my tummy to try one. Next time, I promise myself! You can’t miss the long queues that often snake around the block. It’s a true testament to the bakery’s popularity, and while the wait can be lengthy, it only builds the anticipation. It’s a lovely chance to chat with fellow pastry enthusiasts while you wait for those heavenly treats. Some of the best sourdough I’ve ever had. First tried it at salt recently on their banana toast and loved its chewy and fresh yet soft texture. Yesterday I decided to try the smoky potato fermented sourdough which is listed as one of their bestsellers. I am in love. Had with tahini and maple syrup and so chewy, fresh and buttery. Will be back. They did say the oven is malfunctioning so they were unable to make it as smoky as usual so I’m curious in the future how this potato loaf will differ in taste. Prepare for lines

One of the best, if not the best bakery in town. I didn't go to Agnes Bakery before, because there are other higher rated bakeries around and there is always a long line there. Omg, how very mistaken I was! The pastry was amazing! I bought the Rhubarb Danish and it was the best pastry I tried in Brisbane. The espresso was also really really good, with a different profile compared to some around town. It was worth every penny. Congratulations to the whole Agnes Bakery team! I wish they had a larger space with some chairs/table.

High quality bakery with a great selection. I was recommended by staff at Pigeon Whole Bakers in Hobart 🥐 I’ll be back for the Basque Cheesecake tomorrow!

The pastries were fantastic but the coffee was cold and bitter burnt. No service-mind staff, I was rudely told (it was early morning with No customers ,so No long day, busy etc. excuses for attitude) to order pastry inside right after I ordered coffee at the coffee window. Seriously, they should’ve putted a sign on to let the 1st time customers know how the order system works in there if they don’t know how to ask customers to follow their directions nicely.

Omg it’s one of the best bakery in the city I found so far!!! Always a queue but definitely worth waiting. The staffs are warming and energetic. Wide selection, made me hard to choose!! 100% get Basque cheesecake. God quality sourdough as well. I’d love to try all of them.

I came here after trying out Sprout since it was convenient and right next to each other! I hope their competition is friendly! I tried the confit garlic loaf here because I wanted something savoury since I had something sweet just before I came here. The garlic loaf was nice and soft! There was a good balance of texture for sure. Their other selection also looked quite amazing, which I would also like to try one day. The outside decoration isn't too special but I liked the inside of the shop, since you could see them handle the bakery as well! Nice warm colours and a fast service by the staff as well.
