Basic rooms in a rustic setting. The garden is lovely. What we liked least is that one employee systematically tried to overcharge us, which is absurd given the fact that the prices are clearly indicated at reception.

I stayed for a month. Clean and tidy and very good location basically near to government building, shops and restaurants. Very helpful staff and very quite. Water and electricity goes off but return after few hours. The staff will provide you with water pocket and candles. Beautiful garden and excellent customer service

central yet quiet location, easy walk to "everything". The place has dark and very basic rooms with very basic facilities, nothing romantic about it but not bad for a budget minded explorer.

its dark inside and rooms are makeshft in all respects, but here you are in the capital of makeshift, so enjoy! easy walking distance to the few local attractions and restaurants, safe area, as is most of the city.

The Africa pension is in a real good location, very calm with a good view of Asmara and in a part of the city full of gardens and flowers.||The staff is really helpfull and the rooms are kept really clean.||Only problem is the shared toilette.||I recomend it.....

One of the best hotel in Asmara. Location is Great and most important it's clean and customer service is at its best.

The B.E.S.T pension in Eritrea...It could be Africa's too!...I would recommend everyone to go there
