Nestled in a hidden Bucktown alley, this chic spot serves up enticing New American dishes and inventive cocktails, perfect for cozy date nights or lively patio gatherings.
"Ada Street is in a barren, industrial part of Bucktown, and the entrance is on what looks like a frontage road. If you’re not expecting this, you might think you're lost. The isolated atmosphere continues with the enclosed and hidden courtyard in the back of the restaurant. But once you get settled and text everyone to let them know you’re alright, you can have a nice, quiet dinner without hearing city buses go by. Order the steak tartare and the pasta of the day." - adrian kane, john ringor
"Ada Street is in an industrial part of Bucktown, and the unmarked entrance is on what looks like a frontage road. If you’re not expecting this, you might think your maps app is having an off day. But the isolated atmosphere is perfect when you want a quiet meal without fear of CTA buses interrupting a riveting date night conversation or weekly work gossip session—even its patio is safe from city noise. Get the Thai beef tartare with some spicy zip from chilis or any of their pastas, like squash agnolotti or rich gnocchi bathed in truffle cream. " - john ringor, adrian kane, nick allen
"This cozy, hip hideaway tucked away down an unassuming ally is ALWAYS packed. The people, food and service are spectacular and the vibe is approachable to the point that you feel like you’re hanging out with a bunch of friends. It's the perfect casual spot to drink beers and play ping pong with a group out on the patio or have a nice date night inside. The menu features an assortment of seasonal small plates and cocktails - some favorites include the “Only Son of a Ladies' Man" cocktail, the grilled corn, gnocchi, and if you're feeling daring, the out-of-this-world-good octopus (beware, it's spicy!). If you're looking to hang out on the patio, get there early, seats get snatched fast! They take limited reservations for inside, from 5:30-6:30, and after that it's walk-ins only. TIP - Browse through their record collection, and if you find something you like they'll play it for you!" - Serafini Creative
