As a longtime Season Ticket holder and an frequent attendee at the Stadium Club at Dodger Stadium I can safely recommend to
fans to avoid this venue as the dining experience would hardly be worth being called a "club"as it's substandard in every way. It has declined every year for 40 years and has now hit rock bottom as a ripoff.
The Dodgers have the tendency to stop short in making their ticket holders feel like they're getting good value. They have us watch a team that gets close, but hardly wins and use this as a reason to charge high prices on tickets, parking, and food. This "club" is an excellent example.
The elevator they installed in right field does not stop on the club level so although you come in down below on the Field level, you must go up the elevator and then through outside ramps to re-enter the stadium where you wait in line to get a armband and a stamp on your wrist that supposedly "allows" you in and out of what looks like a noisy sports bar.
It's usually so jammed with people waiting in line for drinks, that you can't get near it and since they've blocked the panoramic view of the field by putting party tables in front of where you sit, your only choice is to sit at tables and watch the game on TV like you're at home. The good news is that the waiters tend to be nice and attentive.
The food though is absolutely hands down the worst you'll find anywhere in Los Angeles. The "Chef's Table" is a bunch of really hastily prepared and poorly heated buffet items that taste horrible. Entrees appearing the night we were attending included cooked shrimp with the heads still on, a turkey breast (more like a loaf) with white gravy with floating undetermined vegetables, some nastily marinated chicken that tasted like a bicycle tire probably would, old pizza, and a variety of boiled hot dogs sitting in their boiler pots. Whoever puts this food out should be embarrassed as it is of such low quality.
All side dishes are disgustingly drizzled with unknown sauces and seem to be generally old. Since they are so unappetizing and unappealing, you get the feeling they're just left out all night. For those of us brave enough to try eating them, you instantly regret it, and realize why most sensible people avoid them. I have very rarely been to a place where everything is bad.
Your Chef's Table meal runs about $75.00 per person and your kind waiter wants a tip (suggested at 20%) for bringing you your water and your empty plate.
So save yourself money and eat somewhere else before you go to the game. As good as The Dodgers are on the field, they need to seriously up their game on the Stadium Club. My wife and I never want to go back there again.
