This Scott’s Addition headquarters is where the magic happens for Health Warriors, a local food startup founded in 2010 by former college athletes. After encountering the grind of everyday work life, founders Dan, Nick, and Shane found themselves losing grip on the healthy habits they’d worked so hard to develop. So they decided to do something about it--they took a chance on an ancient superfood called chia. With a renewed burst of energy, the friends soon rediscovered their passion for action and knew they had to share it with the world. So they started making chia bars, chia seeds, and protein bars under the moniker Health Warriors. You can find the products at national chains like Target and Whole Foods, but we’re partial to walking up the street and taking a peek at the alchemy inside."
