Will Rogers State Beach

Public beach · Pacific Palisades

"Will Rogers Beach, Pacific Palisades. Will Rogers Beach is located at the intersection of Temescal Canyon and PCH, and is just a few minutes north of Santa Monica. It's definitely worth the drive because the plentiful and easy parking gets you on and off the sand faster than any of the other nightmarish options in Los Angeles proper. It's also probably the most pristine beach in the city with lots of space and not too many people. There are also volleyball nets, a waterside cafe, and a popular biking and running path. The southern most area on the beach has been dubbed "Ginger Rogers Beach" and has long been known as gay friendly. It's just across the street from the handful of decent restaurants and bars on West Channel Road convenient for post-beach sustenance."
