"Frank 'n Hank, Koreatown. Frank 'n Hank is as much a piece of K-town history as karaoke clubs or 24-hour Korean tofu joints, and remained a reliable standby for decades. With its local clientele (who reflect the ethnic and economic diversity of the 'hood), unglamourous style and $3 well drinks, this bar is a classic, poorly-lit dive on a stretch of Western ave becoming more gentrified by the fresher, more hip establishments that slowly surround it. You go there to play a couple rounds of pool, maybe a few songs on the jukebox and if you're a type nerd, to moon over the retro signage out front. But above all, you go to Frank 'n Hanks without any expectations - which means it can never dissapoint you (love you alcohol, mean it)."
