"Blue Ribbon Garden, Downtown La. Quiet in the city. As rare as that is, we find it in the Blue Ribbon Garden, a hidden place of zen on the rooftop of the Walt Disney Concert Hall. We enjoy strolling through the garden to gather our thoughts and admire the beauty of the lush landscaping juxtaposed against Frank Gehry's sculptural steel architecture. A nice find is the Lillian Disney Memorial Fountain, which sits in the middle of the garden and pays tribute to Lillian's love for Delft porcelain and roses. The metal type in donor names adorning the marble floor is an elegant signage touch."
