"Emerald City Pet Rescue, Sodo Georgetown by Starbucks Global Creative. This nonprofit organization rescues and nurtures homeless and neglected animals—pets who are on death row, have behavioral issues, or hit a patch of bad luck in life. Creating a home-sweet-home environment for all in their charge, rescuers (employees and volunteers) take great pains to provide the best medical care, training, and rehabilitation to improve the lives of the animals and make finding a permanent, loving home for them more likely. Emerald City also boasts a store, a meet-and-greet room, a carpeted cat playroom, walls of vibrant artwork as well as an onsite dog trainer with a pitbull named Matisse."
