"Octavio Herrera was a baker at Veniero’s for 21 years before opening his own bakery in Jackson Heights. Named after his wife, Lety’s has a devout old school neighborhood following. They continue to come for the buttery Italian cookies, the crispy, creamy lobster tails and the crazy moist carrot cake.
