On the Grid : Chop Wah Hin Sheet Metal Works

"Chop Wah Him, a traditional metalsmith, and the only metalsmith remaining in the Balestier area, has been around since the 1970s. Only agreeing to unique, one-off orders, the owner Jimmy Chin knocks, solders and bends metal sheets by hand without the help of machines. He took over the business from his father, who started running the shop in the 1940s, and has been handling various metal services for industrial, commercial and domestic purposes. While residents in the past would shop for kettles and dustbins at Chop Wah Him, the shop now mainly caters to crafting more industrial items, such as pipe joints." - OuterEdit
