"The Windmill, Brixton. A unique windmill, formally known as 'Ashby's Mill', built in 1816 and worked by wind until 1862. It has been recently restored in 2010 and now cared for by a local residents group called ‘The Friends of Windmill Gardens’ who hold regular events in the park and provide volunteer guided visits into the windmill."
