"At first glance, Ampersand is a cool book shop with a tasteful collection of titles on photography, design, art, and the like. Look around a bit, and you’ll notice the shop walls serve as an art gallery showing work by contemporary artists. Look even further, and you’ll find books by Ampersand Editions, a small press that publishes books about the shows on the wall by the artists themselves.
