"Stockyards Brewing Co., West Bottoms. While not quite open yet — slated for early Spring, 2016 — these guys are well-positioned to be a beacon for where the West Bottoms are headed. Situated in the former Golden Ox space, they’ve successfully breathed new life into the space while keeping some of the cowboy charm. They’re brewing on-site, duh, with the aim to open with 5 beers and eventually distribute. Ranging from Pilsner to what they’re calling a Brunch Stout, they’re all unpretentious, drinkable beers. Yes, so much yes. I had a sneak peek taste of the stout and it was mighty tasty. They'll have bar munchies too."
