In a time when it seems like there is a new, hip San Francisco bar or restaurant opening every other day, sometimes you just want something that feels familiar and completely unpretentious. Located right on the water along the Embarcadero, Pier 23 could not sit in a more picturesque location, but don’t be fooled by the view - this place is no frills. The food is ok, but a cold beer, the view and Bay breeze are the real reasons to stay."
