"Eric Finkelstein and Matt Ross, the sandwich experts and playful nostalgists behind Court Street Grocers and the HiHi Room, are the new management of the venue previously known as Eisenberg's. They are proving to be gifted preservationists as well as savvy restaurateurs, renaming it S&P Sandwich Shop after the founders. With roughly three dozen sandwiches on the menu, including hamburgers, the classics have been honed rather than updated. The interior has been spruced up, maintaining its comfortable and worn edges, and the original forty-foot counter with vinyl swivel stools. Some of the dishes include a half cantaloupe filled with cottage cheese, iceberg lettuce topped with egg salad, and a Dusty Miller sundae." - Hannah Goldfield
