"Lucia Pizza, originally from Sheepshead Bay, opened a Soho location in 2024, and now has a third spot on east 88th Street. We love Lucia for their crust—thin and light on the bottom, airy around the edges—which provides a satisfying, chewy, classic New York slice experience. Their plain pizza is excellent, with just enough cheese, and finished with a few leaves of peppery basil. But Lucia's more out-there toppings—like creamed spinach—are also well-worth getting, and we’ll be back to try the grandma and Sicilian squares. It's a simple white-and-green space, but there are a few tables where you can sit and eat one of the city's top pizzas. photo credit: Willa Moore" - Will Hartman
