You can walk in any time—it’s open all day—in any mood, and feel like you've stumbled upon a sanctuary. We’ve never had a problem getting a little table, booth, or at least a chrome diner stool, and it's an ideal spot for some low-key people-watching, or just zoning out to the ’90s programming on a TV above the bar. You can eat a burger and drink an egg cream here, or you can eat a hangar steak and drink a glass of wine.
