Kitchen Table shared by @infatuation says: ""Draw back a heavy curtain at the back of Bubbledogs, behind the tables of PR girls getting shitfaced on champagne, and you’ll enter one of the most unique dining experiences in London. This is the Kitchen Table, and it’s a swish counter-only restaurant in which you sit around an open kitchen of chefs cooking interesting, fine dining dishes. It’s pretty much the opposite of hot dogs. Kitchen Table only does one 12-course tasting menu, and many of the courses have a strong European influence with lots of cutting-edge chef whizz-bangery on display – it’s like going to the theatre for anyone who’s addicted to MasterChef: The Professionals or Great British Menu. Even though everything’s about the food, the atmosphere is still relaxed, especially compared to other fine dining restaurants. The chefs regularly come over to chat about each dish, or the latest episode of Game of Thrones. They’re serious about what they do, but they don’t take themselves too seriously. Is it expensive? Yeah, of course it is. But for a special occasion, it’s definitely worth the bother – so long as you can secure a booking."" on Postcard
