"This bar and music venue in Uptown has the best greyhounds in Oakland. On weekends or nights when bands are playing (there’s sometimes a small cover), you may have to shuffle your way through the crowded bar area to get one, but it’s worth it - they’re refreshing yet stiff and made with hand-squeezed grapefruit juice. And while you’re waiting to get the bartender’s attention, stare up at the tall cubby shelves that are behind the bar - the dusty baby doll heads, painted portraits, and other dusty found objects will make you feel like you’ve stumbled upon an eccentric person’s estate sale." - Lani Conway
