Stara House shared by @infatuation says: ""If your nerves are shot after braving The Grove’s parking structure, restore your goodwill toward the world with a visit to Stara. The Eastern European stall on the back side of the Original Farmers Market (right outside Du-par's) serves hearty Polish food that’s so comforting it feels like an edible weighted blanket. As the name suggests, this place is all about pierogies and sausage. Get the combo plate if you’re a first-timer. It comes with a sweet, six-inch kielbasa that snaps when you cut it, plus a choice of four pierogies (we like the tangy sauerkraut and mushroom ones). These dumplings are so soft and supple though, we’d eat them with just about anything stuffed inside. Our only quibble with Stara is that while the portions are large, they are priced to match, so be prepared to commit to a proper meal rather than a snack."" on Postcard
