Dominique Ansel Bakery Review - Soho - New York - The Infatuation

"You may know Dominique Ansel Bakery as the place with the cookie shots—a shot glass made out of cookie and filled with milk—and the long lines. But gimmicky desserts and people waiting for them aside, this Soho shop is a great place to pick up some pastries and a coffee, and if you swing by on a weekday morning, there probably won’t be a wait. They’re famous for their Cronut, which is trademarked and changes flavor monthly, as well as their DKA (Dominique’s Kougin-Amann), but they do simple things like a butter-forward plain croissant just as well. You can also get a Perfect Little Egg Sandwich ($13) here, and eat it in the backyard if the weather’s nice. photo credit: Willa Moore" - Willa Moore

It translates from Laotian to English to mean; dark or night. dhom is an expression of what Chef Phet likes to eat and cook.
