"Beppe’s little shop in the Jewish Ghetto needs no hype—just walk by and you’ll spot the glass case overflowing with cheese and salumi, practically waving you in. The shelves are stocked with artisanal pasta, olive oil, jams, and cookies, while the opposite wall is lined with bottles of natural wine. There are a few tables where you can sample it all, starting with a platter of cheeses like smoked pecorino or housemade giallina, an alpine cow’s milk cheese. While the dairy is a highlight, the wine selection is equally impressive. If you're there during truffle season (late fall to winter), try the tajarin al tartufo bianco, paired with a Nebbiolo. photo credit: Saghar Setareh photo credit: Saghar Setareh video credit: Saghar Setareh photo credit: Saghar Setareh" - Annie Replogle
