LA’s New Restaurant Openings

"The short-lived Kushiba in Echo Park closed just a few months after opening, but it’s already been flipped to a new concept we’re excited about: Bar A Ti. This casual Mexican spot run by a former Bestia chef offers a short menu of seafood tostadas and tacos on heirloom blue corn tortillas (including crispy beef tacos that taste like a vastly superior take on Tito’s), plus fun cocktails like an ume paloma and pickled mussel michelada. Bar A Ti will run as a residency for the next two months, with hopes of turning into a permanent brick-and-mortar beyond that." - sylvio martins
